Westy03
Rick mentioned last night at the Billiken Club meeting that he thinks we have another aussie committed. Any ideas on who it is?
bk18
I am hoping it is Hugh Greenwood, but I think he is planning on heading to New Mexico. Some others that I think could be more reasonable: - http://www.hamburg2010.fiba.com/pages/eng/fe/10/fu17wc/men/player/p/eid//pid/79044/sid/4718/tid/239/accumulated-statistics.html - http://www.hamburg2010.fiba.com/pages/eng/fe/10/fu17wc/men/player/p/eid//pid/79254/sid/4718/tid/239/accumulated-statistics.html I think the Owen Odigie is the most likely, but whoever it may be has to be somewhere on this list: http://www.basketball.net.au/index.php?id=302&tx_ttnews[tt_news]=1761&tx_ttnews[backPid]=331&cHash=affa9c47f2
DoctorB
I remember hearing earlier they were after Mitchell Creek --is that it? he is supposed to be a terrific scoring guard-- which we could use, along with other stuff...
For-DaLove
I remember hearing earlier they were after Mitchell Creek --is that it? he is supposed to be a terrific scoring guard-- which we could use, along with other stuff...I'm glad you posted this. I had been trying to remember his name all morning. I've heard great things about him and I remember hearing last Spring that we had a good shot at landing him. slu72
I'm glad you posted this. I had been trying to remember his name all morning. I've heard great things about him and I remember hearing last Spring that we had a good shot at landing him. Good to hear we're still in the pipeline. Also, all that talk about CE maybe reconsidering his move to the US because of RM's sit down policies, is just that, talk. I'm sure any Aussie kid would want to check w/ CE and CS before making the move to SLU.
bk18
Mitchell Creek: http://statistik.basketball-bundesliga.de/AST/player_stats.php?team=4015&saison=2009&spieler_id=16790
slufanskip
Mitchell Creek: http://statistik.basketball-bundesliga.de/AST/player_stats.php?team=4015&saison=2009&spieler_id=16790 50% from the line. I think it's him, it's destiny. I wouldn't recruit a kid who can't hit 75% from the line. All this poor f/t shooting drives me crazy. EMS67
It doesn't look like it's Mitchell Creek. http://www.ausport.gov.au/news/asc_news/story_400157_ais_basketball_star_signs_with_adelaide_36ers
doowop
Do we really need another guard? It seems a big man is a greater need. A big man who plays inside.

Hawk
We need a jon smith but better and not prone to freaky ######. DE will be better than JS. He's not as long and won't block many shots but he actually has a frame to grow into.

Snif was lost on both defense and offense at times; DE knows where he is and where the ball is; the only place Smif looked as good was blocking shots
bk18
Do we really need another guard? It seems a big man is a greater need. A big man who plays inside. He's a 6'6'' shooting guard. Kid's got some sick skills: He apparently signed with one of the Australian Professional teams: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adelaide_36ers check the roster at the bottom. Or see him in action: Does anyone know if you can sign someone who has a pro contract in the NBL?

Given his pro contract I'm certain we aren't recruiting him.
