brianstl
I know he was on our radar at one time. http://scout.scout.com/a.z?s=75&p=8&c=1&nid=2365443
LoveforVouk
Steve Moore was a guy I really liked, but with where things stand now and where I would like to see them head in the next months I am not too upset about not landing him. I know the prior staff was after him, but did Majerus continue to express interest?
SShoe
From the things I heard, it's a good pickup for Mizzou.
Box and Won
And according to their crack staff, Mizzou wasn't even recruiting him until today - they weren't listed under "schools of interest."
Westy03
Good for them, but in all honesty who gives a flying #####. They wont play us so why care who they get commitment from unless its Scott Suggs of course.
BIG BILL FAN
I can't believe that Mizzou is recruiting 3 star players...i thought that was beneath them...
ACE
Thompson and Reed are both rated higher than this kid. Nice pickup for the Mizlosers, but not good enough for us. LOL!
brianstl
It is beneath them when the kid ends up going to SLU. When the kid ends up at MU he is a future All-American.
brianstl
According to Tigerboard he passed on SLU for them. He also passed on KU for them, LOL.
slufanskip
I believe we rescinded our offer Official Billikens.com sponsor of H Waldman Official Sponser of the Stemmler and Ahearn could and would have helped club.
LoveforVouk
Thompson is definitely considered a better prospect than Moore, but Moore is considered a better prospect than Reed. I am not saying that these rankings are that meaningful, but Moore has a rivals rating of 5.7 and is listed as a 3 star prospect and is the 40th rated power forward on scout whereas Reed is two stars on scout and not ranked. He is a nice player and certainly a quality recruit for Mizzou. I checked their board and they are not overly excited about this signing as you all seem to think they are. ACE
I just looked at scout.com and Reed is indeed rated higher than Moore.

ACE
Yep. We got two higher ranked playes.
LoveforVouk
This is huge, three commitments from quality players and it is only the second week of June. Mizzou better get used to playing second fiddle when it comes to D-I hoops in the St. Louis area.
