Yep… one of the biggest roster/scheme issues in my mind is the consistent high ball screens with a 5 that has stone hands and is zero threat unless he has his back to the hoop and 5feet away. Worked way better last year with linssen.

24 points in the second half and we still win! Been saying all year, you’re just gonna have those games where it’s not falling but you have to play hard defense to grind it out. Great crowd. Nice way to go out for the seniors. we’ll see how much they wanna keep playing next week.

Apathy has set in for me. Not only for this year, but next if ford returns. I will go to the Dayton game and I will root for them to go on some fairytale run in the A10 tourney, but not expecting much.

I don’t think we’ve won one game this year that we weren’t supposed to win (or a coin toss) and also not cover. I’ve never heard of that happening before.

I think porter would be an upgrade from ford, but keep in mind it did take him some time to get it going in Chicago. First four years were pretty mediocre.

Said in a previous post, but the NIT doesn’t move the needle for me. Only post season is ncaa tourney. And with the expanded field in recent years, it’s sad we can’t get there. ford will continue to roll out the same players he has because he thinks they are the ones that will give him the best chance of winning and he is playing for regular season wins right now. Not to develop players.

Dayton could have won by 30 if they wanted to. we are a defensively and mentally weak team. As well as poorly coached.
