They have the Cards and Blues in their own yard. You would think that the AD or someone else who cares about athletics would ask them for advice on how to build a fanbase. It’s frustrating, because I believe the city wants to see them become better than they’ve been. There’s no NFL in St. Louis anymore, so from October to April or May the Bills and Blues are the only winter sports in town.

The foundation of big time programs/teams begins with the fanbase. SLU doesn’t get it and I’m afraid they never will.

Well that’s stupid. Why would any St. Louisan care about them ?

That would require forward thinking from the athletic department.

The sooner you come to accept that SLU is a D1 program in name, the better off you'll be.

Most of the twitter minions are too young to remember him in the booth and the video game is all they know of him. Now, 50 or so years down the line if it exists, expect to see Joe Buck get lambasted by them.

Uh, this isn't the pros. The fanbase pays the bills. No fanbase, no players of Yuri, Perkins, Nesbitt, and Goodwin and French's caliber.
