Does the league WANT a crap team to sneak in? It's not like we've got a bunch of really good teams this year anyway.

Agreed. I expect this to look like the Yankees or the Dodgers buying free agents with the Royals and the Pirates on the outside looking in. And I expect intra-team jealousies and squabbles too.

So there is some game context to the tweet. I don't read anything else into it. If there was any other tweets by him, I didn't see them.

Also, I have to mention that those 6 or 7 available players were only a few starters and some end of bench players. I was there for one of the 7 player wins and the 6 player win. It's still hard to believe. Yeah, I don't think they appreciated what they had.

Yeah, I wasn't gonna go there but I agree.

Last year's team won some of those games with only 7 (and in one case 6) players available. And some games were lost with pretty much the same situation. I give last year's team a big pass.

Big win over a good team, but that's NOT how to close out a game. Missed free throws by veteran players and panic-stricken attempts to beat a press. But, a win's a win.
