  1. In all honest, who gives a ######. Just win. In my house today it was sex and cake day ... big ###### deal.
  2. If I am KM ... I tell them, I will stay here and play next year, but I want to play immediately. In his best interest it would be to play now, go to school next year, graduate and then go to Europe and help his family by making 65-95k. In Billiken fan, AD, Coaching Staff, Donors, etc it is their best interest he stays for 2 years. I hope KM gets to do what HE wants, especially after him and Willie were treated like $HIT! If he wants to stay two years great, but if he doesn't then ###### the administration and anyone else.
  3. Not trying to be negative, just realistic. At the beginning of the season I stated that our Bills would struggle to win 16 games and that a repeat appearance in the CBI would signify a good season. Everyone basically called me out, laughed at me and shoved it aside. I like to look down the road for our program ... not just the next game. Majerus' health is a major concern. And it could sink the program with transfers and LOI back outs if he has to hang it up. Let's face it, as much as I love Slu and loved going to school there ... these guys did not come to Saint Louis for any other reason except Majerus.
  4. I listened and it sounded like he was half dead. He hasn't been outside in 2 weeks. How is he going to coach, recruit and coach practice over the next 18 months? I just don't see it happening. The man may die on the court if he really tries to coach next year. In my mind the program is a little shaky right now. If he returns next year we may have one shot at an NCAA birth ... because it may be his swan song, he may retire and then there will be a bunch of transfers and back out of LOI's. The nature of a new coach. The sad thing is the talent may actually be there next year ... but because our coach may not live five years, the five year outlook of the program is shaky at best.
  5. Overall Majerus is a pig. He is so much more of a show than anything the past 10 years of his life. He hasn't done ###### in a decade ... what? One NCAA win? I love Slu ... but hiring him went against our values and it shows with his recruits. Since Sodeberg left Majerus hasn't even led us to an NIT. He has been a 5 million dollar bust so far. This man should not get a pass because of his previous success. I understand a couple years of rebuilding ... but three or four with not even an NIT, for a million dollars? Give me a break.
  6. Why because I have stated the truth since I have been on the board? Or is it because you guys can't take facts? Everyone wanted to ban me because I predicted we would win 17 games without Rockhurst this year and make the CBI ... well ... I am pretty much right except for the CBI part, they won't make it. Just because I state the truth, doesn't make me any less of a fan.
  7. This to me is a lame excuse. I remember in 2008 when UD lost Charles Little, Chris Wright to injury and Brian Roberts for 5 games and that team ended up going to the NIT Quarterfinals. If a roster is truly stacked the replacements from the bench can stabilize it and at least turn in a respectable season. Our team lost two players, had all off-season to practice and come to play with a supposedly "deep roster" and what do we do? Crap on ourselves. The fact that this team may not even return to the CBI is a slap in the face to our supposed over-hyped depth. This team will be lucky to get 14-16 wins this season (including Rockhurst!). What happens next year if Kwamain rolls his ankle and misses 3 games ... do we crumble? Posters that are already stating next year's team will be loaded are insane. They are saying this now?? There are so many intangibles that go into a season. There will ALWAYS be an injury. Always! Stacked rosters can keep it going when they are out. Let's just play out this string next year. And see where we stand around thanksgiving of next year before declaring anything.
  8. Was at the game tonight as an Alum I am pretty disappointed. The Good - Our arena is beautiful The Bad - The atmosphere is a joke and our team is awful. The Ugly - Listening to the students, the fact they kept saying we haven't been to an NIT game in 9 years is something I never realized. What a joke. Why are we paying Majerus 1 million again? Anyways ... the only fun I had was the reverse dunk by Wright ... because that was a brutal game.
  9. If Majerus retires ... the question becomes will a bunch of kids or new recruits transfer next year? My answer is at least 2 people leave or back out of LOI if Majerus is done.
  10. Just like how every MLB team starts the year with 7 Starting pitchers and is scrambling for a spot start in August ... the cart is way ahead of the horse. Injuries, off court problems, grades, breaking team rules, pissing off the dying Majerus ... all of these things happen to every team in the course of a year. My guess is no one red-shirts all year next year and the competition for minutes makes everyone better. Would be awful to red shirt someone and then see WR sprain his ankle.
  11. I'll be there, in the student section with you fellow alums! Loud!
  12. Well ... as an Alum and a die hard like you I agree with all of you. All the posts about the sexual case and crumble of the season I agree with. Even if I can only get to two or three games a year, it is still money. And its tough in these times. Not to mention all that money for a new arena and we fill it to like 40 percent capacity. Regardless, I will be the wear Wednesday ... be loud!!!!!!!!! BILLYBILLY FOR LIFE!
  13. Because ... I am as big of a fan as anyone and all I have done was state facts. I do not take on other members or make fun of people, I just ask fair questions. I am coming into town for the Dayton game on Wednesday, I fly tomorrow. I hope we KICK their asses!! Just because I stated early in the year that we would struggle to win 16 games and all of you took offense to that it made me a troll. However, seems like I nailed it right on the head. Until this program actually makes the NIT again, I will never be optimistic entering a season. I will just react to how it goes!
  14. When was that posted? Before or after the rape case? It would be great if they were back for tomorrow, but we all know not to hold our breaths or get excited about our Billikens basketball! But, I will still root!
  15. We went over this earlier in the year ... it can't count. I do agree this is an important game for us ... no one wants to be 2-5.
  16. Haha, wow! Also, I think it is great we are showing up, love it! We have a long way to go to catch Dayton, X is possibly attainable. Keep up the good work!
  17. Duke and Dayton have the longest win streaks in the country going. The real question is, how does a team like Dayton win @ Ole Miss, then nearly lose to SS @ UD Arena. Either way, let's go Bills, who cares about either!
  18. I have yet to say one bad thing about a poster, or send a message? Because this is my first time ever using this site! I swear on it. Either way. I am sorry some of you disagree with my harsh statements on Biondi, the rape case, our schedule or record, etc, etc. But, I am just saying what all of you are thinking and I am trying to be a realistic Bills fan. If they can CBI it or NIT it, that is fair and I will be happy. Why should I get my hopes up? This team is capable of winning 13 games or 20 games, which one will it be, or will it be in between?
  19. Exactly, which is why I said it will be a seven point game. Let's hope for some home cooking!!
  20. It will be interesting. I wish we had scheduled another D-1 Team before Georgia instead of Rockhurst but them the breaks. I think it will be a good game since Georgia is an awful team. Their size and athleticism will be a problem, even though we may have the better basketball IQ. Georgia by 7 in a good game.
