It's funny to think how different these picks would be if we lost yesterday. Hahaha. It's also funny to think how many points we scored in the first half yesterday. 50. Wow.

Just ran into billikenfan05 in the hallway. He said one loss, to New Mexico. Said we would win the tourney in Cali. Also said Conklin would be in Top 5 for POTY for NCAA. Alright, I lied about the second part.

I was looking at the AP Top 25 from LAST year on ESPN.com at Week 9 (Jan 3), and there were a couple of two or three loss teams ranked at that point. So that poised the question, will the Billikens be in the Top 25 at the start of 2012? I'm curious what your input is... how many losses will we have on January 1st? And who will those losses be to? And will we be ranked entering conference play? I am thinking we only have two losses (Nova, and New Mexico), and towards the top of the receiving votes category.

Two great guesses there. In all honesty, it's because of Red Panda at halftime. She got in a bad car wreck this weekend and her car is in the shop. She refused a ride to the game, and said she couldn't leave her house in West County until 7:30pm (due to a dinner commitment). She will be riding her unicycle down I-64 to Chaifetz and we are crossing our fingers that she will be there in time.

Just FYI... SLU_Billikens Billiken Athletics Friday night's MBB tip time has been changed from 7:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Billikens vs. Tennessee State – Friday, Nov. 11 – 8 p.m.
