I watched the replay of this game. I think that we will match up well against most of Wisconsin's team. They don't have/play much height outside of Kaminsky and Dekker. They have a frosh Nigel Hayes that gets 10-15 minutes a game, but other than that, they just play a ton of guards (Brust,Gasser,Jackson,Koenig). Dekker isn't what everyone thought he would be this year, not yet at least. I'm looking forward to this game against them, it should be great.

There's nothing new on that primer. In fact, it is outdated. It talks about a player that has already committed to another school.

Jesperson would be a great addition. 6'6" shooter. Virginia was a good team that was overlooked, extremely slow-tempo, so looking at the stat sheet doesn't tell you much. He was a top 100 recruit coming out of high school, and if Bennett started him that often, then he probably didn't have too many problems with his defense. His position is getting crowded at Virginia, that's my guess to why he left. I'm not entirely sure how many KSU schollies are left. Does anyone know? But I do know that Orris (frosh pg) and Angel Rodriguez (pg) left KSU and they are needing solid guards, so Justin Edwards might see a lot of potential there (BCS, minutes, etc).

I don't think North Texas is a blowout game at all, it actually scares me a little. Santa Clara should be better than last year. With Kansas, A&M, Washington, New Mexico, Valpo and North Texas, it seems, to me, like a better OOC than the last few years.

If anything, I'd say he woke up a little bit last night, had a good 5 minute stretch in the second half.

We know our offense can be frustrating but I've grown accustomed to inconsistency, and I'm fine with it. Our exposed defense is something I can't understand. Dayton's high screen for Dillard was used again and again. That was the key to the game. At first he was getting all the way into the lane by himself and either taking it, getting fouled or a last second dish to one of the post players. After the last timeout of the first half, it looked like we adjusted by changing the degree of the hedge, and it worked for about 3 minutes going into the half. Then in the second half, we decided to essentially double team and leave their post player open beyond the 3-point line. Wasn't that bad of an idea, except when Fabrizius was on the court. Should have switched up the strategy based on which Dayton players were on the court. Unfortunately, none of the adjustments that were made ending up working. Dillard hasn't been hot from the 3 this year, and yet we insisted on going over the top the screen, leaving us about 2 steps behind him.

That thread is from 2009. From a quick search it seems like he was very hyped a couple of years ago. He gave a verbal to Loyola in August of this year, then backed out a month later....so I'm not sure what to think.
