  1. Welp, that coaching change has now lost all of its intrigue. It will obviously be Schmidt. Sorry for the Bonnies. As an adult, I am intrigued by the loyalty coaches have to their alma mater, when there is generally little to no reciprocity.
  2. I am sure the draft-niks have noticed or will notice JGoods PG play.
  3. My eye test in the first half of Fordham made me think we were back overall, better on defense and worse on offense. That could just be having Yuri on the bench on offense.
  4. Here is a weird question. Do our numbers (overall stats from some Bayesian statistical model) look better or worse with Goodwin at the point?
  5. This post is a little scary. I don’t think it is a cowardly thing to seek help for yourself. I am not familiar with any great resources for you. If you are seeking a moderator’s support to avoid making harmful posts, maybe you need to talk to a therapist?
  6. He is the number one recruit, right? I would assume the scouts are seeing a Ben Simmons clone, pg and not a center.
  7. Wow. Maybe “Cruise” was always his name? I mean, that is exactly what he did.
  8. He did go up against the all-time steals leader at Rhode Island, and that steal leader was going hard at him because he saw a fresh fish. No turnovers. Got lucky, but not too bad. He hasn’t impressed yet, needs to get confidence in his shot. That said, I guarantee he gets a s Hollie next year.
  9. Fordham has 2 wins and those two wins are Dayton and Lasalle. That is a heck of a coincidence. Someone get me the odds of this occurrence, stat!
  10. It sucks for Mizzou to lose. In truth, I want to play and beat them in the final four or finals. It would be glorious.
  11. Who wants to be the next Billy Gillespie?
  12. Can we at least call ourselves Upper MidMajor.
  13. Anyone who badmouths Travis Ford is dead to me. This program owes him a massive debt. I have no reason to believe that he would leave, but if he does, he will have left it 100x better than he found it. Any coach would inherit a loaded roster, well set pipelines into area schools, a well coached team, and a solid relationship with local media. A top level coach looking for a change would beg for this job. That said, I would hope Ford can remember what life was like at Oklahoma State. Nothing was good enough.
  14. Low turnovers was a hallmark of the great Majerus/Crews teams. I feel like they would regularly have 6 TO’s. They had to have 4 or less more than once. They would get crushed on the boards though.
  15. The team had 4 total turnovers. Imagine saying that his freshmen year?
  16. I don’t know. Fred Thatch has been taking his man to the hole for his buckets. He has had a physical mismatch everytime on the court. So, he is an option.
  17. That is mine. I said it out loud as I was typing. Technically, I didn’t use the “x” and instead used ‘x’, but I apologize for the confusion.
  18. I read that quote as ‘Perkins is mostly out’. May be able to play if necessary. The fact that it is followed by a TJ comment solidifies it in my mind. Hopefully I am wrong, but expect zero minutes from him.
  19. Yeah, french and Linssen or bell inside, leave in Perkins and Gibson, set Jacobs at the point and work inside out for open 3’s. This lineup would be a killer on offense. Might struggle rebounding.
  20. St. John’s... .what? Notre Dame is the second surprise. Does this list count civil war era games?
