According to this bracket, Illinois should be a higher seed and the favorite

UMC and SLU are 2 different teams that run completely different tempos. Baylor IS overated but still a very good team.

As of 2pm today they have the Bills a #10 seed in the Atlanta region vs. #7 Illinois. Illinois is now 5-7 in the Big 10 so I was wondering how they can be a #7 seed when they should not even be in the tournament? Baylor would be a nightmare matchup for the Bills in the second round with their length and athleticism. The BIlls would play UMASS as the 2vs3 matchup, but I do not see UMASS holding up. I expect to see X at that spot but they looked overwhelmed last night. X is a team looking for an identity by trying different lineups and playing different combinations. Tough to overcome this late in the season.

I remember Temple's guard being a real tough matchup for us and they have only gotten better, Temple would be favored anywhere we played them.

Just looked through most of the UMASS board and they are actually pretty reasonable. They see this game as being one of the biggest in recent years for them and they are revving up for a huge crowd. I know Rick will have us ready for the game so I do not see a let up. Don’t get us wrong, this is a big game for us as well. I definitely do not see our board chalking this game up as a W. It is going to be tough as they are pretty athletic and we saw what Temple's athletes did against us. There were 2 stats that were brought up that caught my eye. It was stated that we were the worst in the league in three point field defense. If this is the case, this is a complete negative turn around from previous seasons. Also, stats showed that we have improved dramatically in our defensive rebounding. Earlier this year, we were getting hammered on the glass but it looks like things have turned around. The Bills have three big ones in a row, let's start with UMASS.

After going all season without a winning a close game, we have won 2 of 3 by 5 points or less. We are learning how to finish the close ones. Viva La Bills!
