Many thought jimmy bell shouldnt even get off the bench and i agree with taj that i would like thunder dunks and shattered backboards. that said we likely have to wait until next year for that. jimmy has shown more than most freshman bigs have in my years of watching billiken basketball and the upside is huge. he will continue to improve game by game throughout the year. yes the offense we get from him will be gravy, but he does have a massive lane presence on the defensive end

my gggggrandfather fought in the revolutionary war and was 7-3, i am 5-7 what happened there. there are no reports about how he was on the boards.

i could be wrong, just my understanding

i am talking about a medical redshirt where an additional year is granted. the official determination is not made until after senior season
-
my understanding is the waiver is asked for after their senior season and at that time the ncaa makes a decision. in the jimerson case it appears that he meets the medical redshirt criteria but it will not be granted for another 3 years

take out french's ft's and they really shot ok, to's were the killer tonight, but a win is a win, lets get the next one

bell needs more clock to keep the double team off of french

Good assessment, i too was hoping hankton would step up. I dont want to give up on him, but when he has the opportunity he needs to take it. -

that GT 4 that we didnt get this year would look real nice on next years roster. Our team might look very attractive for that type of guy who wants to go out a winner. A freshman big ready to play is hard to find. I would take one of course. maybe diarra heals and developes and we already have that guy -
they showed him getting his wrist taped and then hit his head, possibly why he didnt play down the stretch
-
Not there best performance, but still a win. onto conference play. who would of thought 11-2. jimmy bell getting better every game and hargrove starting to come on, Go Bills

Jimerson: Out for the Season w/broken foot
dennis_w replied to moytoy12's topic in Billikens.com Main Board
5th metatarsal fracture requiring internal fixation would be obvious on ordinary xray, with delay from injury to the announcement seems unlikely,I could of course be entirely wrong since I was not asked to review the film -
Jimerson: Out for the Season w/broken foot

It could possibly be a lisfranc fracture were surgery is often an option -
i was hoping hankton would grow into that stretch four guy, maybe he still will. injuries have slowed him. i agree though another big on the roster, losing french and goodwin after next year leaves a rebounding hole that needs to be filled.
