I would have told him there's one way for him and KM to make people forget about this situation, and that's win a lot of games. If we make the NCAAs/win the conference next year or the year after, this situation will barely be remembered. If we don't, we'll be talking about "what could have been" for a long time.

Agreed. People forgot that KM was 2nd team all conference as a sophomore. Kevin Anderson, Lavoy Allen, Damien Saunders, and Chris Wright will be all gone next year. Assuming he didn't lose a step from the time off, KM should be a conference player of the year candidate in 2011-12.

Really infuriating to read. Just shut the ###### up already. Acting like she was completely innocent while KM is some monster who is going to start plotting and searching for his next "victim." Letting him back at SLU is "unsafe" for the female students at SLU. I bet her parents still can't believe their little baby girl would consent to having sex with those big black tattooed basketball players.

It's not that surprising how bad we are without KM and WR. They're 2 of the top 15 players in the conference. It's the nature of basketball that 1 or 2 guys can have a huge impact on a team. If Lebron James were on any team in college, that team would be the favorites to win the national championship. He would be completely dominant on both ends. And yes, we WILL be loaded, on paper, next year if they both are back and everyone else is a year older.

If KM and WR are not let back in, then I hope this school never wins another game, ever.

I opened this thread and hoped to read some good news, but.....nope.

We've now lost at home to Austin Peay and Bowling Green. We have to be, what, 10-6 in conference to have a winning season? Almost no chance unless both KM and WR play. Not surprising we're so bad when we lost our 2 best scorers, 2 best defenders, best 3 point shooter, best rebounder and and best shot blocker. I've been to almost every home game since 03-04, and that goaltending non-call was the worst I've ever seen. It was clear as day to me all the way across the arena. Ball bounced off the rim, went upward, and was swatted away by a Bowling Green player. You have to be literally blind (or rigging the game) to miss it.

They're losing by 7 with 12:55 left right now. Hope they lose so we don't have to hear about them anymore.

If they both come back and redshirt, the team should be pretty sick next year with Mitchell, Reed, and Barnett playing. Would be the first year in a while we won't have to rely on freshmen. But if they don't play, I think this will probably be the first losing season in RM's career.
