I had always heard that SLU was interested, but couldn't tell you if that was true. I liked him enough to thinnk that the UNC's of the world recruiting his brother would've/should've/might've offered Ben as well simply to seal the deal with Tyler....Ben could play a role on any team in my opinion. Majerus wants guys who love "ball"....and basketball is very important to them. Ben fits this to a tee. Plus, the aforementioned loss of experienced G's in KL/TL. Go get him.

playing in every game and starting 5 as a true frosh in the Big East isn't "cutting the mustard"? Being named Mr. Basketball in a state called New York isn't having 'done it before'? That was awesome to watch, even though I was not rooting for his team. Alot of guys would have long since mailed it in on a 1-12 team. He clearly isn't one of them.

it surely isnt basketball heaven but it once was a nice gig. Randy's Bennett namesake gets it done in the metropolis that is Pullman, and rain doesn't keep Romar from getting kids to Seattle. A Pac-10 contract would afford the Bennett family many umbrellas. Youre right though--Cal would be a preferable option.
