Will be interesting to see if we go big tonight to start and how our substitution patterns change against Pitt. Will we go more than 7 or 8 deep and how many minutes out of the starters? I believe if we take care of the ball and do not give them any run outs that it will at least be close and then who knows.

What goes unsaid is that the strength coach of the last 2-3 years was not kept for basketball. He was shifted to the other sports and a new strenght coach was hired for BB. I know the guys were very unhappy with him(I think his name is Kelso). I wonder how much a good strength and conditioning coach could have helped IV, BH, AK and others.

I just talked to one of the guys and he said that BH is only able to participate in about half of the practice. That may be part of the reasoning for RM's comments toward BH. Hard to count on someone that hasn't learned the new system and yet and still can't go full speed.

I wouldn't put much stock in early RM comments. Last Thursday BH was still on campus in a boot, so he probably does have some conditioning to get caught up on. I think he was in it for a month. RM is famous for playing mind games to motivate players. Let's wait until we come back from Pittsburg and then I think we will know a lot more.

Monday and Wednesday usually at 4:00 because of night classes. Tuesday and Thursday they can start anytime between 4 & 7 depending on what guys have going on. They don't play on weekends.

You are correct in the flight to PHiladelphia. Then there is a train to Atlantic City which I believe is $15-$20 round-trip. Works out really well.

I'm not sure if it has been posted on here yet but I have heard that the new strength coach started this week. I believe he is from Wright State. He will be only for basketball and Kelso will have the other sports.

I wonder what the talk on this board would be if players and former players had the same lack of respect for fans that some on this board have for them. Comments like "good luck, Obese" have NO place on this board and certainly, I hope do not show the true colors of Billiken fans but instead the immaturity of a few that can hide their true identity on this board.

No extra scholarship if he red-shirts. I would be surprises if he had a "brutal talk" We still have 3 open scholarships. He may fill them, but some may be transfers that have to sit a year.

Not going to happen but it will make you feel better until Monday when you find out he decided not to get back in coaching.

Some will believe that if RM hasn't signed by August, it will be so that he can start the team practice on the first day of classes and do it leagally. I mean no contract, no NCAA restrictions. GIVE IT UP!

They can talk if he Eberhardt comes to campus and I believe it is also ok if the player calls the coach. The coach cannot call, visit or recruit off campus in any way during a dead period.

No, he has not met with any of the players. Verified by asking Mulitple players.

RM has not as of yet talked to the players. If he is hired, the players will no have talked to him first!

I really doubt that the new coach will call RM at ESPN to find out what RM will do differently with the players from what BS did.

Any money on: A. If he signs B. If he coach's at least 1 game C. If he coach's at least one full season D. If when he leaves, we all wish he wouldn't have come in the first place. My guess: If he signs, he won't finish the season and this board will be littered with trash from fans saying they wish he wouldn't have come and calling Biondi an idiot for signing him.

No surprise there. This board has been more information than I ever thought possible from the media. When I see a SLU press release then I might begin to believe. I think it is time that we learn to love the one they hire realizing that it won't be RM and that that is not the new coach's fault, whoever he may be.
