  1. I'm rooting for Bradley...if I can't have a good bracket, nobody can.
  2. UB likes being at a Catholic school...plus, his son is getting a good amount of attention in the high school program that he's already in; I don't see it happening...
  3. just this year, we got KILLED by players in the A10 who could step out from the lane and drop a trey or a long two on us...it seemed that nobody could step up and defend. Maybe Obi sees himself as the guy who can help stop that. Teams like Joe's just rained the three ball on us because we didn't have the guys to match up the way we wanted to.
  4. I've said it before and I'll say it again...I want to work with you guys... seriously, if there's a job opening out there for a kid who is a finance major, I'd love to watch BBall at work. Beats the hell out of being in class all of next week...
  5. how is taking a running 25 ft. shot with 5 ticks left a good idea?
  6. I don't get teh GW game in Chicago...what's happened to them in the last 5 mins of clock time? Big deficit all of the sudden...
  7. I think rooting for Marquette today has given me a headache; its like my body rejected the Golden Eagles
  8. Ian says that his brother is more of a 4...I think he's skinnier and has more range
  9. he's been wearing a brace for a while. I wonder how Pops sat for the last few weeks while Ian played through his knee injury...
  10. didn't all of the Dieners wait an extra year or two also?
  11. yeah, did you happen to see if he took a leak on anybody?
  12. perhaps his learning curve will be an IV sort...2 years is a long time. But it seems that in the current A10, you need a 4 who can shoot and defend out top. We haven't really played against teams with two bangers, and he's probably been doing a lot of shooting. I'd imagine that he's had some time on his hands...
  13. is there a possibility of a game thread? I can't get the A10 version of stattracker to work and no radio feed in Chicago...
  14. I'd expect nothing less of you, Zach...I wish I could see it, honestly.
  15. that kid is ridiculous...yesterday's was sweet, but today he was behind the NBA line
  16. not getting out-rebounded by a 100-17 margin will be important too
  17. I believe that Patrick Ewing's kid transfered into Georgetown after last season and is sitting until next season...
  18. I was sent there freshman year after being kicked in the leg during my freshman year while playing intramural soccer; I couldn't put weight on my leg. Then they made me walk to get my x-rays, which made me go elsewhere to get my appendix removed. I wonder if they made her walk too...
  19. that same ad ran over the weekend too...
  20. I was actually planning to play the 3 on next year's squad...UB said it would be good to drop some of that beer weight; besides, 5'8" is a great height for a white kid who can't jump or shoot and has a bad knee and back.
  21. that's the sound of a jag bag who doesn't know anything about basketball beyond the final score..
  22. I agree that he changed things and that we started working the ball up the floor more...but he definitely did lead with his arm. That said, at least he was willing to take the ball down the heart of the lane AND he drilled an open three on the wing. I like seeing him in the game, DB changes things.
  23. it was louder for sure than it has been in a long time...which was fun...we were glad to see a lot of the crowd on their feet at the end of regulation; Savvis looks much fuller when people stand.
