  1. not sure the source of the comments, but from what i recall about what RM has said about Luke is that his value and respect/love RM has for Luke goes beyond what happens on the game floor to include among other things the lunch-pail mentality and leadership for the program and RM has mentioned that next year TL and KL will need to take on that role
  2. roy my question was if you could compare what you see in cotto to what you see in allen and where cotto is a player you want over allen as you said you wanted cotto over allen and i am just wondering what is causing that point of view
  3. so roy why don't you break down the deficencies in allen's overall game vs cotto since you are saying cotto is better than allen?
  4. did the refs shoot 10 of 15 from3pt? did the refs shoot 35% from the floor? we played like ###### and with no heart, imo stb played their game of the year, happened to be agianst us we coughed up a big furr ball on our home court for an opportunity at a first round bye ask arizona if pac10 refs are the cat's meow go out and win the damn game against a team that had lost 13 in a row for god's sake and quit blaming others
  5. i guess non-qualifiers could be a reason we are still recruiting even though the roster looks full
  6. last game at kiel/savvis/scottrade, unless the schedule allows and we go nit..... some of the wins that stand out... ku with troy winning the family affair beating 2nd ranked louisville any of the wins over cinn and thuggins the phantom tip win over mosu beating marq was always good, esp with mike deane the last second vs k st we got depaul, memphis and dayton several times each remember senior night when spoon grabbed the mike to thank that group? the fun days with a packed house, will be fun again in Chaifetz let's get the bonnies and move 'em out ps-hey band thanks for st louis blues march after last game, wondering what your last number today will be?
  7. hey v, i think there could possibly be a few people from this board going to the slu game at the time these are being played, but i could be wrong
  8. rammer said several times in the first half "fall away 3"....that is not good thank you kfns for the streaming!!!! GO BILLS!!!!!!!
  9. -if the cardinals would play a saturday day game and allow slu to play a game after them, i would buy tickets and attend both -didn't this used to happen at least occasionally?
  10. favorites? nerinx girls as the one tall girl should be a model
  11. -i make to time to listen as you never know where he will go -i find the show quite enjoyable
  12. i recommend banning pakapablo and next year bill for their lack of consideration to other posters- no pictures or links - unacceptable the gw manager to me was quite nice, i don't know who you were referring to with that guera, sorry i can't believe i did not remember arizona or brad's first game (i had repressed this one)
  13. -no, this is not about another poster saying they are leaving the board only to return -today i will reflect on the near misses we have had at Kiel/Savvis/Scottrade (next week address the wins) -some of the games we did not win that i remember -i think it was season 1 - UMASS with Dickie V in the house - the GA Tech game on ABC where we scored about 40 points and looked horrible -we lost to a really good Memphis team on a saturday afternoon -the loss to mizzou -dayton got us at least a couple of times -unc clobbered us -carbondale got us too -the cusa tourney and jeff harris after his last game shaking everyone's hand -there was the season we could not win a close game, depaul squeaked us that year i think -hawaii came a long way to beat us -probably some others i don't recall right now -next week will be better to remember the victories Scottrade Center Fast Facts Ownership:Sports Capital Partnership, which also owns the St. Louis Blues National Hockey League franchise Cost: $135 million Architect: Ellerbe Becket of Kansas City Construction: Sverdrup Corp. of St. Louis was the construction program manager. 14. schasz - how are things in palm harbor as our weather here is not the best kfns 590 am on mondays at 7pm ct and they stream also he is on the same station on fridays usually in the 10am ct hour with cusamono and ramsay
  15. -i tried to understand the point of the question without all of the gd bickering -i think a pretty good example is the guy from Borgia - Luke,Eckerle, Moosman at Miami-OH - the Frazier kid left MOSU -if my recollection is correct that is one a year for the last 4, maybe luke redshirted, i don't remember -even if it is 4 in 5 yrs going d1, what other school matches that? not saying there aren't any, but for this area not sure who tops that
  16. post of the week, and maybe the month, imo
  17. sorry griffster, did not remember the 44 on the end of your name i appreciate your contributions to the board
  18. Sampson will probably lay low for a while then re-surface at a lower level Div 1 program that is desperate if that happens, imo that school gets whatever they deserve could he end up on espn??
  19. if griffster44 is Tyler - good luck at Ill -if not, Tyler still good luck at Ill vtime - your initial post in this thread is indeed laughable - and remember i tried to help you months ago by advising when you say a player is d1 to say who is recruiting them, what offers do they have and at what level you think they can play because of the huge difference between #1 and #336- but you can't respond to the lead story in the Sunday paper about cheating by saying 2 kids played d1 and not catch crap about it, well deserved crap imo floyd was probably the best and most consistent recruiter a stl school has ever seen!!!! (methods are another thing, of course) glad that, i believe her name was Kristen from the RFT, she who did the legwork on this story is now proved on point what a sad, sad commentary on floyd, vashon hs, the phl, mshsaa, stlpd and every media outlet not the RFT, and the vashon community that knew about it and just wanted to win this happend in a ST LOUIS HIGH SCHOOL -what is going on at D1 schools??????????????
  20. imo, tommy and luke were badly outplayed today and that was the game. i agree, not sure where they were but they weren't in the game, imo
  21. i'll join the fray... you are not serious? there have been 2 well documented events with one player in particular and bad habits are anything he does not want the kids to do, in other words teaching them a new system on both ends of the floor
  22. i don't think he was being sarcastic, but IU was shooting ft's with 5.36 left in the game and talking about sampson and his troubles and DV says "oh, coach sampson is a great communicator with his kids" i guess he just needs to learn how to do that within the rules of the ncaa
