  1. -i said this when talking about the dedication ceremony...i hope the ath dept has the seat selection process as organized or better than that day was -but there will be complaining in any case
  2. I don't believe I have asked for a banning before - I move to ban Tee - these pictures are offensive!!! Jennie Finch - thank you very much thanks Box
  3. at the open house cotto had the biggest smile, really, ear to ear all the time he showed great joy at being in the Fits
  4. i should have read the other thread first.......but the question is still in my mind
  5. i'm not sure that being the last visit would not be the best thing for us
  6. are you by chance problack/vtime/stlhoopswhatever? one thing that makes me think not is you are, at this point, only extolling 1 kid...........but there is time
  7. wow, i don't share that opinion about The Fetz not to make excuses, but i believe the ath dept was to move in to their new digs mon and tues
  8. -if you and box are discussing something as meaningful as this i had to search for a video.....i would think she would qualify to be a "full" professor -Melissa Harris-Lacewell is the name -just so you know, i did not have any volume on so i have no idea what was said
  9. congrats signguy with a phd candidate at the helm, will we all be required to up our games a bit?
  10. i think they were talking about globetrotters attendance
  11. -i was thoroughly impressed with the bldg and the job the ath dept did to put on this event, i hope seat picking day is this organized -rick was there until at least 6.45, as was Fr B who seemed ecstatic -as i was walking from the o-c garage i passed a clayco worker and potential horrors passed through my mind, but all was well -there are a bunch of items to finish, but i was pleasantly shocked -i heard Fr B tell someone the 4 boards were cheaper than a jumbotron, they were nicely used for the 'trotters tonight -band sounded great, thanks -dance team was about 10 girls, no evidence to me of other spirit team members other than the billiken -was there a map to the bricks/pavers? -lorenzini's could be a nice hangout, getting there on game night depending on how they make you go could be interesting -how many flat screens are in that complex? 250? 500? they are seemingly everywhere -both seat types seemed comfortable -the seating area slope is excellent-well done design crew!!! -seems rick has the biggest office, but the ad has the corner -in contrast to others, i thought student turnout was very good -should be fun, hope we are replacing the bulbs in that light a lot
  12. amazingly, yes couple of observations - seemed to me the basket moved alot on dunks and some on regular shots, more than i noticed at scottrade also, could have just been the globetrotters, but the pa was hard to understand it seemed like the 100's were 85% full and the 200's about 50% full, crowd that size is lost at acotttrade
  13. -someone posted spoon will be there, i hope rich grawer was invited and is there as imo without him we are playing d3 ball with maryville or whoever
  14. i could have given more i bet you could have given more nice, throwing a shot at someone not affiliated with the U who gave $1mil i'll take this space to thanks to mr taylor for his generosity and hope it keeps coming

  18. -a kid can verbal at any time - see the 8th graders (wasn't it Bailey to Indiana, of all places?) that have done it -it is my guess the slu ship has sailed on harrelson, brad had his chance with a kid on his son's rival team, could not see the potential, and did not offer, now KY or someone of that ilk will get a player and then we can debate how good he was or was not or if he could have helped SLU (ah, the next Ahearn)
  19. can you go from stanford to cal (albeit with a stop in the middle)?
  20. i missed it also - but considering he says "i haven't returned as a poster" in a post - i would guess his absence will be about as long others when they "leave"
