-we have no idea what efforts the adept or mbb or anyone may be taking to get slu mentioned in the press, but this is not prime time for slu sports -as to chris may, i am not sure in what shape the adept was in when he arrived, but if any of you have ever been put in a situation to clean up a program/business/dept you know how long and hard that effort can be, so if he inherited a mess, it will take some time to turn that around, but again, i don't know if that is the situation -i realize only one point, but the adept website looks a lot better than it had

- i agree with those that put forth that the criteria is weak -if i read this correctly, if you are a 4 seed and lose in the first round, you net to a negative 1 point - if that is correct it is crazy imo -if you are an 8 or 9 seed and lose the the 1 seed in the second round you get penalized, more crazy imo -i think there is too much weight given to the star power player with the all american points, it is a team game and this is biased to the big schools (bcs) -how is a ban from the tourney "worth" the same as a losing season? i guess only in media coverage -i would factor coaching changes into the mix somehow as well

i was hoping for rangers and somene in current yankee stadum so the last event in the house that ruth built would have been a hockey game - no offense to babe ruth, just think the yankees have such a huge competitive advantage it is unfair but hawks and wings will work - as long there is no world series banner hanging there

-i like the lundquist/raftery combo on cbs a lot, but verne lundquist could call cow milking and i would listen to at least a minute or two -imo 2 yrs ago cbs screwed gus johnson by having greg gumble do 3 and 4th round ncaa games over gus and whoever, gus is one of my favorites and imo gumble was horrible -but billy is gone and it does not bother me

i will not miss billy i hope clark does a good job and remembers that to some people, maybe many, a lot of the joy of the ncaa tourney is the upset by the non-bcs schools - and duke losing

box, i think you need to consider that unless there is a long drive involved, you will have quality drinking time between the wedding and reception and you need to be comfortable to be doing that, so i am thinking sport coat and trousers - no tie, it is summer

clock, while not remembering specific quotes, i remember her saying or maybe i heard it and thought something along the lines of the practice facility is very important as we have vball, mbball and wbball all needing to practice/play games during the same part of the year and we need to have the space for that to happen and for the situation to be agreeable to recruits if i had to guess, vball will have their floor set up all the time and the bball teams split the other practice court and the arena court, but that is a guess

i would be disappointed if the big majority of the practices are not on the game floor - but then i stop and think cheryl made a real big deal about getting practice courts - 2 in fact - so practices can be held at least in the same bldg if not on the same floor - so something makes me think the game floor will not be available as much as i would prefer which would be all of the time. and to take another turn on this - the volleyball game with stanford is the only event listed as of 5 minutes ago on the arena web site calendar (and this will not be on the bball game court) - so maybe the game floor will be available. and while doing a changeover may not be like clockwork at this point, they will get the hang of it pretty quickly i would hope

-i believe there is a conf rule (amybe ncaa) that says the visiting team gets so many tickets behind their bench, controlled by the coach or ad -is there a requirement that the visiting school gets some tickets? -i remember when we played at mizzou that slu got so many tickets (and remember, bclub points determined ability to get them!!!!) -does unc get a block of seats when they go to duke?

if you mean there is a chance the reshuffle won't take place in 3 yrs, from what i was told at seat selection the 3 yr reshuffle will happen, the details are not settled as again a large part of the equation is demand

because they don't know what needs shuffling at this point part of the reshuffle will be at least tweaking and possibly overhauling the "colors" and the rates per "color" but you can't announce that until you know the demand per "color" and i guess there will be other facets of the reshuffle not to you dave - but let's get our bitching over with regarding the initial selection before we ***** about something 3 yrs down the line
