a-10 up to 7th highest ranked rpi conference
Cowboy replied to billiken_roy's topic in Billikens.com Main Board
-was GW in their second year under their coach expected to play 7 frosh? unfortunately this horrible schedule that the billikens have has us at 268. at least we are ahead of fordham -glad we are unbeaten with this horrible schedule!!! wow coach, you should have put together the anti-syracuse schedule, that being 10 non-conf road games against, unc, ucla, texas, gonz, memphis, lville, pitt, gtwn, tenn and mich st to show our frosh what they could become, if they were to ever get their confidence back after such drubbings -

-Billikan, if you read at least this board, you understand pretty quickly who is just posting crap and who is not -ignore the crap and you'll be fine -

Billikan - the genie is out of the bottle and she is not going back -internet message boards (imb) are here and can anyone see them going away or not being replaced by the next technology? -i don't know what takes place on other boards, but i would find it hard to believe that any board structured like this one is any different -but if you and the coashes truly realize what imb's are, i think you read them for the fun of it and don't worry about it or totally ignore them, and totally ignoring them is probably the wiser route -it is another issue all together as to if it is fair to those in the crosshairs, i would not want every move i made analyzed, but in today's world, that is the price of fame, however different fame is now versus the days before imb's -
-i got delayed at work and will not be able to make the mtg so a recap from those attending would be mucho appreciado -i hope for the sake of those attending they updated the bar pricing!!!!
-
i hope both!!!
-
-if the kid is a legit 6'1" and he wants to get paid to play and has the football interest from the shcools listed, football would seem the route to take -i would bet there is a greater % of players in the nfl 6'1 and under than in the nba (the numbers are a no brainer) -nfl defensive backs can make a lot of $$$ -heck, there is a chance he could make the rams today!!!! -as to the gateway tech kid, go take a visit to usc and frolic with the song girls if for no other reason you may never have the chance again!! but go to mizzou
-
roy has already posted in this thread

-and we judge them on appearance as well as singing?? -not sure who could beat valerie in this format, but i would like to see her!!! http://www.blacktie-stlouis.com/premiere_e...mp;partyid=2356
-
-are you to blame?? -were there really only 600 people there?
-
-Messmer and the organ from the Stadium, I never got to go there in person, but that was really good. -the Yankees with Merrill was good also -and from STL, Natalie Deluchia at Blues games, I wonder what she looks like now, she would be about 25 I would guess, if she still sings perhaps an option -Band - thanks for the cd update, I hope it has your entire play list!!!

OT: Mizzou going to the NCAA tournament?
Cowboy replied to STL Hoops Insider's topic in Billikens.com Main Board
it is appearing more and more likely, but remember it is Dec 8 a lot of things have to be done between now and March 15 -
Valerie is great, and she can sing also hey band, what about the cd that was mentioned some months ago??
-
-i had a few positives from this game -i thought BE showed a lot more in this game than he had in the previous few, more aggressive was the key -we moved the ball real well in spurts -using WR effectively to break the press if that continues that is a real nice option -Rick played WR and BT at the same time against the smaller team, i liked that -we did have too mnay to's and missed some open shots -SSt did not look too good, maybe that was us, but i am guessing they played a different game at mich -i'll take a win, let the kids study for finals, and move on down the road
-
Box, were you a chucker?? was that the problem?
-
vballers kicked some butt good luck tomorrow ladies!!!
-
-Earl Austin, Jr was not at the game last night doing color as he was at the hospital with his mother -Earl I hope all is well and that your mother makes a very speedy recovery -on a lighter note, you did not miss much
-
-i wonder do you have to pay a WILL or EILL to play them? i guess if all the games are in stl we would -but setting up 2 or 3 for 1's with a few these seems a way to go, staggered away games of course -then get the Gtwn, Marq, Memphis, Lvlle's to wrap it up -not sure the rpi of local schedule would be much different than this yr's, but the opponents would be semi-local
-
Who would you rather have as your power forward?
Cowboy replied to davidnark's topic in Billikens.com Main Board
i know this is not rick's style, but with the foul trouble we had last night going zone seems to me an option, at least for a few possessions -

-i was never sure what position he was trying to play so i will submit sekue barantine -
we can even play siue there and go to fast eddie's before and/or after or we can play them at Chaifetz and go to fast eddies before and/or after either way is good
-
-i think the games with siu need to continue, and also with mosu
-
-if these were not mvc refs, i agree -if these were mvc refs wouldn't the league have something to say about how their games are officiated? -and maybe the league does say on defense you can have a hand on the opponent ALL THE TIME and you can mug the opponent and basically do anything but put them in the hospital but i as an official will be much less likely to call a foul or a violation on the mvc team -might be a bit extreme but the constant hand check was a great defensive tool for them -i don;'t like the kind of game that was played last night, not because we lost, becaue to me it was not basketball, it more resembled wrestling
-
-i hope kevin is ok, but something sure seems to be out of sort with him, maybe he is sick or something but this no where close to his norm
-
Topeka, welcome and keep coming back to give us updates. we will have lots of available minutes for someone that can put the ball in the basket
-
-i am not sure we can score with them at this point and it would be a welcome change if our defense held them below their avg -maybe siu has the flu and slu will win 49-46 in a game that has no flow due to 52 fouls being called
