Oh those Gators cannot stand prosperity either as this is the 2nd year in a row that they lost the very next game after getting the votes for No. 1. Maryland played a nice game at Gainesville and after blowing a 17 point half time lead they nipped Florida by 1 in OT.

I am sure that he was referencing the problems that Rick Barnes and Texas had with Arizona last night. At one point with just over 3 mins to play, the Longhorns were down by 19...they made a frantic run to make the final margin more respectable.

Thanks for the great report Roy. I'm pleased to know that our soccer program is also in very capable coaching hands. It sounds like we should have a very good team coming back for another run next year. I like the way this year is setting up for our basketball team especially after Saturday's game. We just need to keep our head above water in a very tough December non-conference schedule. Sounds like you had a good theory on JJ, and it does sound like he will be a nice player in time...he just needs some more time to mature and learn the game...no question that he has the physical tools. I think with consistent development of this young talent that over the course of this year...our Bills wiil be a tough team as we get into conference play.

So it definitely wasn't all those correspondence courses????

Tonight over an undefeated Texas team makes me appreciate even more the effort our team gave VS the Wildcats last Saturday. Our kids just need to keep working hard and listening to their excellent HC and we will get our share of victories. Heck, let's give that kind of effort VS GTech on Saturday and let's see what happens. Let's Go Bills!!!

Billikan, Please do...IMHO, we are spending far too much time debating the Goobers from Gooberville when we should be debating the merits of our team. I'm only interested in our kids and could care less about the Goobers.

To all of those fans that did attend Saturday's game, but no excuse for anyone calling themsevlves a sports fan who did not attend. This shows the real fickle St. Louis sports fans. Oh well, it won't be long when Brad will have this program back in the NCAA Tourney, we'll have our on campus 13K seat palace, and tickets will be at a premium.

The BCS System sucks, as this was not the 1st time that this happened. NCAA does crown a true Champion in basketball, but unless they institute at least an 8 team playoff, they might as well still have a mythical National football champion. If USC beats Michigan then we will definitely have two No. 1's. Go figure computer honks!!!

Thanks for the kind words and your club has gotten off to a nice start. Actually, I was disappointed that we could not get at least 15K folks interested in seeing a top National program play our Billikens. I am hoping that there will be a lot more noise and a more hostile atmosphere once we have our on campus palace built. Hopefully, we can break ground on it soon now that SLU has bought the property.

AJ, Are you insinuating that our game with Arizona was a fluke??? If so, not sure how you could say that this early in the season, as I saw lots of positves to build on from yesterday's loss. Time will tell if the team turns those positives into victories in the future.

He looked good in the limited role that he played yesterday and I would be all for him getting more minutes right now especially considering that we won't have Ian for a few more games. Like I said before, being in Brad's doghouse early on may have done what Brad intended it to do...get this kids attention. He most definitely has tremendous upside especially compared to Varner and IO. Right now, IO should be the one in the doghouse as his early play has been less anoyones expectations.

That was the same IU team that got schooled by Wake earlier in the week. I was surprised that they had it in them to get up by double digits VS Mizzou. Having said all that, no question that they completely folded their tent in the final 3-4 minutes as I don't think they even scored.

As a huge SLU fan, I must say that I was disturbed by that assinine fan act myself especially at that critical time in the game. What if we get a T for that dumbazzz act of one fan? Like you AJ, I loved that slam by Chris today, and it was shown several times too. Reggie definitely showed us that we have a go to guy...I mean he almost willed us to at least OT.

What can you not say about Reggie Bryant's fisrt home game as a Billiken. I have been following the program since the late 50's and it was one of the best debuts that I have seen. Too bad his foot was just on the line on that last 3. Way to go Bills, if we can play with that kind of heart throughout the rest of the year then we will win our share of games and will beat some of the tough team still left on our schedule. I was super proud of the efffort by our team today.
