  1. Any information on the whereabouts of Father Grollmes? I miss him on the Billikens bench.
  2. Jordair's performance tonight is another example that he is the team leader and catalyst. His defense, drives, and dishes (the 3 Ds) spark this team. I hope he relishes this role and is ready to bring his A game every night - we need him. I finally see a leader emerging to replace Kwamain. In Jordair we trust.
  3. Thanks for correcting the spelling of his name. He has been MIA for the past 4 games. I hope he is gone visiting family.
  4. Does any one know anything about Father Gamez (I hope I am spelling this right) - the priest always on the Bill's bench? He has been missing the past few games. Thanks.
  5. Rich Grawer was at today's game. He looked great and it was nice to see him at a SLU game. He is the original savior of the program. Hope he attends more games and it would be great if Coach Crews reached out to him.
  6. When we needed outside shooting - the 3 pt - at the end of the game, why not have McBroom in versus Barnett?
  7. Jett needs to make his free throws; McCall has to be part of the offense, and we have to rely on our normal shot selection. Loe should be forbidden to do a bounce pass - it is always a disaster. Refs in 1st half game Wisconsin a tremendous advantage.
  8. No one mentions John Manning. I think he will be a factor this year, defending - rebounding - and scoring down low. Release the Manning.
  9. Majerus was really high on Tanner Bronson. If we trust in the instincts of Majerus, we have a solid recruiter and coach on board.
  10. Definitely Top10. Look at our record when he missed that year. He was the captain of this resurgence. This is now Evans team.
  11. I am as disappointed as all of us are - but there shouldn't be any fingerpointing or blame. We got beat tonight by a team that played better than us. It happens. Each player on this team contributed to a great season. Same as the coaching staff. Let the bandwagon fans jump off - I wish we had won - but we didn't. Sometime reality is harsh - let's hope we build from this season. Thanks to all the players - especially the seniors - the coaching staff. The players put in a tremendous amount of work as do the coaches. We fans just get to ride the wave. RIP Coach.
  12. Billikens #13 in both polls - this is an all-time high for the team. Congratulations to the team and coaching staff - the Majerus legacy
  13. Tough game tonight - I kind of forgot how tough losing can be. Time for the team and fans to get focused for the next game. How far will a fresh 11 game winning streak get us? I absolutely love this team. They made this season a real pleasure with all the early trauma and sadness. Time to refocus on tenacious defense, good shot selection, and limit turnovers. We have to have the Chaifetz absolutely rockin' on Saturday. The team needs our full support for the LaSalle game and a send off for the post-season. Make this a special day for Kwamain, Cory, and Cody. Time for a new chapter in Billiken history.
  14. This should be a permanent link for the Board. http://www.ncaa.com/video#!basketball-men/2012-03-18/mbb-305-saint-louis-post
  15. Lunardi's new bracket has us as a 6th seed. I will take that. http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/bracketology
  16. Rebound guys - the refs need to quit bailing them out on the offensive end
  17. I heard a Rick Majerus interview about 3 years ago. He was asked who had the best basketball IQ in the nation. Without hesitation, he said Jim Crews. I had to google search to see who he was. There has been a decided change in how Crews has publicly coached this team. He now looks like he has firm reigns on the team and the response is quite positive. I believe our coaching staff is putting together great game plans and the team is working hard to work that plan. I applaud what Crews is doing as HC. For a team to survive the loss and death of a HOF coach and now to flourish, I believe the current coaching staff is doing an excellent job. Moving Grandy into the starting line-up was quite a coaching decision. Before you all anoint the next head coach to be - be careful what you wish for.
  18. Snowing pretty good out right now - a good omen for our "whiteout".
  19. Crews should have taken a Technical - the refs were bullied by Hurley all game. He argued every call. They played hard physical D and we get more fouls called??? He dictated the pace and style of the game with his antics - and it worked. We CANNOT go into games not ready for war. Jordair, Evans, Cory.......these guys need to set the tone of the game - take no prisoners. We are 15 points favorites and we come out like we can coast to a win.
