In the second half of their season, the XFL was going to have to compete with viewers with 3 weekends of NCAA tourney games, the start of baseball, NHL playoffs, and the Masters. A silver lining to the XFL shutting down is that St. Louis can say that we proved that we are a good football town, drop the mic, and walk away.
