STL Hoops Insider
I think both Martin and Ford have proven unquestionably that they can recruit, but both have both had trouble getting all their recruits on the floor this year for various reasons. Conference play is a chance for both to prove themselves as in-game coaches. Ford has a thin roster, but does have mostly his guys picked for his system. Martin also has a thin roster going into the rest of SEC play with just 3 of his recruits and 6 Anderson holdovers.if each can finish with a winning conference record, that would be impressive. I'm guessing with the passing of Porter's one and done year there just might be a multimillion dollar coaching vacancy on the MU staff........
