Welmer is a keeper.  He couldn't hit his FT at Bloomington North HS either.  Ya'd think a Hoosier could hit free ones.  That's all we do until we graduate from HS, shoot free throws in the back yard.

Moore's numbers look good and JJ did not miss anything though he fouled out

Keep Neufeld and Welmer off the FT line, and we are looking r e a l l y good there.  They were a combine 5 for 16.  Well, and Reggie was 1-4.  Not good.  I see a 'hack a shack' approach coming our way.

Who wants to give their thoughts on how good the Freshmen looked?

Really hard to gage against Greenville.  About all you can say is Moore and Johnson would dominate at DIII.  I'd have to check, but most of their points were layups.  I think each did have a three.  Moore's 10 for 10 from the line was certainly noteworthy.

Welmer appears, as he should, to be more developed basketball wise than the other two.  He has had a Prep year and a redshirt year to learn D1 ball.  Yes, he is horrible at the line, but has a good nose for the ball.  Two of his three misses were three point attempts.  He added three blocks and three assists.

All three will help this team.
