i would sure love to see the billikens make an effort to find a true PF and play a more traditional lineup instead of the dribble drive 4 guards out.   kentucky is successful playing the four guard out thing simply because they typically have an incredibly talented roster that is loaded with nba potential most years.   those guys could be successful playing any offense and has little to do with scum's offensive schemes imo.

That’s why Eric Weathers Jr was/is a target.

I was curious if there was a way to get the Podcast on Amazon Music?  I could just be missing something, but when searching for Midtown Madness on Amazon Music, it doesn't come up as a podcast.

I stupidly ask because this would make it easier for me to listen on Amazon devices (e.g., echos).

I will look into it for sure.

Well, perhaps I misunderstood what was posted - did Nesbitt take back his declaration for the NBA?

You’re right. I am not really sure if he did or not. Pete and I could probably do 30 minutes of reading the tea leaves, but I’m guessing Nesbitt made an impulsive decision and someone from SLU got to him and talked to him or he had a conversation with an agent that may have opened his eyes. Will he return to SLU? I don’t know. I don’t think Cusumano’s take is applicable anymore as he was specifically reacting to Nesbitts post.

OK I get that it is a weird situation but can you tell what the upshot was?  Thanks

Gotta be honest with you, I very often have no recollection of anything talked about on the podcast. Between following notes, listening to Peter or guest and trying to be ready with a follow up question or thought I kind of blackout in the time we record. Could you elaborate?

A little surprised that you mentioned 3 key plays from the Dayton game but left off Fred’s ankle breaker and great left hand finish. Fred’s contributions were every bit as key to the win as Yuri, Marten, or anyone else.

Unfortunately some things just get lost among everything else. That was a play that I lost my mind over in the moment but got crowded out by everything else. Due to time constraints and turn around time we really do these episodes live with little to no editing, if we miss something it's just kind of an oh well. Worse is that we record sunday nights and news almost always seems to drop on Mondays.

  6. Alright here's are the facts:

Pete has had Courtside on ignore since he initially decided to erroneously claim that his posts were being stolen. Peter has not read a single post by Courtside since.

Zac does not read posts and only once in a blue moon writes posts longer than a single 5 sentence paragraph. Terrible ADHD and extreme laziness.

Zac does not read, research or post about recruiting information to twitter, it's just not his thing.

All of what we tweeted out from our twitter account can be found on the internet and TopDrawerSoccer. Peter has done obsessively extensive research when it comes to men's basketball and to assume he wouldn't do the same for soccer means you're just not paying attention.

We most assuredly covered Sam Rowan transferring to Belmont. Why might you ask? Because Sam Rowan is a distant cousin via marriage to Zac and we spoke with his best friend Patrick Schulte directly about how Sam was hoping Schulte would get drafted by Nashville.

Neither Zac nor Peter would know Nick Faddis if he punched us both in the nose. No disrespect to Nick, I just can't remember him entering a game.

Courtside's attacks at Peter and Zac are either a product of him being innocently mistaken or just plain defamatory.
