SLU's struggles are of their own doing. They've had decades to take their highest revenue sport seriously but didn't until the late 80's and by then they were left well behind by the Creighton and Xaviers of the Midwest.

Soderberg didn’t have the support nor the resources to recruit well like Ford does, but of course you know that. Tremaine Isabell turning into Allen Iverson for four days in 2019 is the only reason the one time movie star has remained here for that long.
