That’s not fair to Pickett. CF and Yuri put him in that position. In those games you had a point guard that for some reason didn’t bring the ball up the floor. Someone had to. Pickett was put in an unfair situation. Everyone knows that’s not his strength. But yet he was forced to do it.

You said you thought Yuri was asked to do to much. I can see that. But when Yuri has his off games I think it’s because he tries to do to much. I can’t think that Ford wants him to play hero ball. I think the criticism towards him is because we see how good he is. So when he goes off his rocker and makes dumb decisions it’s frustrating because we know he’s better than that. He’s shown he’s better than that. We just need him to be more consistent with his decision making.

Just read an article about 6’5” guard Kael Combs out of the Springfield MO area. The article stated the teams that were recruiting him. It listed Saint Louis as one. Does anyone know if we are in on him? Or if they were just causally looking?

I don’t think it’s because he was replacing Pickett. I think it’s because he was having a good game then got buried on the bench for some reason. TJ had been out for a while at that point. It just so happened that Pickett was the one he replaced.

Look at Tony LaRussa high on the win list. And high on the loss list.

I don’t see Yuri sitting out if he can play. He doesn’t strike me as that type. The young man is a hard nosed player. I’m glad he’s our guard. I think Travis has done him a disservice by touting his as the best guard in the nation. He’s very good and fun to watch. But he’s not near the best. I just wish he didn’t default to hero ball so much.

Pickett obviously is not a point guard. He was put in a bad situation of having to handle the ball. For the life of me I can’t understand why you wouldn’t want”the best point guard in the nation” to handle the ball. This was 100% the fault if the coach. I would also say it’s the fault of Yuri. As “the leader and captain” he should have demanded the ball and taken Pickett out of that position. Let Pickett excel where he does. Rebounding, put backs, and short mid range jumpers not playing point.

Yuri flat out got owned tonight. Along with a couple others. They look like they don’t care. Sad effort.

He didn’t look fine if you watched him. Lots of wincing when he moved his leg. I thought he must of really injured his leg in practice or something. I didn’t know about the car wreck.

We clearly are’t better off without him. But it could make us better for next year. Guess that could be the silver lining.

Hopefully the new person can do something to address the traffic issues. Not really marketing related. But It took over 40 minutes to get into the parking garage. There were a lot of people still trying to get into the game halfway through the first half. I could see where a first time fan or a casual fan would’ve bother coming back. Then you have to wait 30-45minutes just to exit. I don’t know what can be done but it’s not a good situation.

I think your very mistaken if you think people don’t know what’s going on with their investments. They might not know exact totals. But most people have an idea if they are up or down. Taking this back to NIL money. If people are putting large sums into NIL you can guarantee they know their position.

I don’t know about mental health. But they would have a hell of a set of shoulders.

How can you say people don’t think about investment losses until they hit 10%. Then say it’s only paper value. Kind of a contradiction isn’t it?
