  1. Need two for tonight if anyone has any. Thank you.
  2. That’s like saying “she’d be really pretty if she wasn’t so ugly. The money is there it’s just allocated wrong. Hopefully that changes in the not so distant future.
  3. Travis is the person to blame. He’s the one that set this team up. He’s also the one to blame for guys not setting screens or knowing how to. I watched 4 yrs of Yuri not knowing how to use a screen. And years of guys not setting them. This is one of the worst screen setting teams there is. Easy to play tough bully defense when you don’t have to worry about that.
  4. What I wouldn’t give for a couple Conklin back screens. Why don’t we ever see them do that. Medley is getting harassed. Help the guy out.
  5. Send me a PM I’ll give you mine. You’ll be hard pressed to find better
  6. Wonder if we’ll see any mid season transfers. We usually don’t have any. But if I was a player and saw the trajectory of this team I’d certainly be considering it.
  7. Exactly. Only reason I renewed my season tickets is I would never be snow to get my seats again. I didn’t renew the 4 up top for the kids and their friends. I would say my seats have over a 90% usage rate the last 10 plus years. Even through the bad Crews years. The seats have yet to be used this year. I won’t even go through the trouble of giving them away. I think empty seats speak volumes. I might go to a few games. Driving 45min each way makes it a 4hr plus commitment. Plus spending money on parking and concessions feels like throwing good money after bad. I still watch the games on TV when I can. But judging by attendance I think a lot of people feel the same way.
  8. Totally agree. and I’m sure most of you remember when the Arena and Savis were pretty much sold out. Pretty sure they held a few more people than the current venue.
  9. Honestly it was over before that. Just would have been more interesting.
  10. Never mind sell tickets. How will it get the people that already bought tickets to show up?
  11. What’s the over under on attendance?
  12. The fact that this is true is very depressing.
  13. I do think without majors changes we will live in that area for a while. It takes a lot for SLU to be a top 50 program without NIL. Unless they change what’s going on I don’t see many high level recruits coming here when there is money on the table somewhere else.
  14. Those players were here before NIL exploded to what is is. Think we’ll be better than 75 this year? Hopefully we will but do you honestly see that happening?
  15. I know when Ford was hired it was and probably still is the norm to pay that much for a coach. If I was SLU and the person paying his salary I’d be looking for a 1mil a year coach and spend 1.5mi on NIL. Can’t tell me we wouldn’t field a top 20 team and fill the arena doing that. But with coach Ford and the way NIL and transfers are now we won’t be truly competitive for a long time. It’s what college basketball is now. You either step up or live in the 75-150 range as a team. I think SLU has chose the latter.
  16. We could if we weren’t spending so much money somewhere else.
  17. They count attendance like the St. Louis Cardinals do.
  18. I bought my tickets this year just to keep my seats. I usually attend about 90% of the games. This year I’m projecting about 40-50% based off the schedule and perceived quality of the team. No reason to throw good money after bad by paying for gas, parking, concessions, and the time commitment. My seats have been filled 90% of the time for the last 10plus years. I honestly think the only thing that will change things is poor attendance.
  19. I’d take a Donnie Dobbs . Even more so if he came with a high school teammate like Dobbs had in Jimmy Jackson
  20. I renewed my tickets only because I don’t want to loose them for the future. I didn’t renew my 4 $99 seats uptop though.
  21. Give me a coach that make 1plus million a year and 1.4 million a year in NIL money. Problem solved.
  22. Hopefully they guard it better than the 3-point line.
  23. I will admit I didn’t think he’d make it this far. Mainly because of his shot. I’m glad I was wrong and he’s doing so well. He’s worked hard for everything he’s achieved. Congrats to Jordan.
