  1. So with Javonte, Gibson, Fred, Parker, Pickett and Hargrove on the wing you guys think it will be hard for Thames to give Yuri a 5-10 min breather in which all Thames has to do is bring the ball up, initiate the offense with a pass and play solid defense?
  2. Congratulations to Joe ...look forward to watching him play.
  3. Congratulations to the Ramey family
  4. Martavian "Tay Tay" Payne in the white tank top. Played for Madison Prep under Tony Irons. Another guy named Brion plays for the Ballislife Midwest team
  5. I know Jericole Hellems left NC State in hopes of a pro career. Any updates? Does he have an agent? Is it to late for him to transfer?
  6. Will be a sophomore at Vashon next year
  7. Yeah. I definitely will watch more games this year.

  9. My bad. You are correct. Not to get to the dance...but I think they need another piece to do damage once they get there
  10. You right about that. If they get a quality starter with one of the remaining scholarships....they are in March
  11. Shaun Williams would be interesting. He had some issues at K State off the court tho.
  12. With four scholarships available..wouldn't we want more than one to go to someone who is in the rotation?
  13. I have no problem with Yuri's choice. I have no connection to any of these local kids in terms of being an advisor or influencing their decisions. I coached Javonte and Javon. But that was over a decade ago. I still chat with Javonte occasionally...he was one of my favorite players. I get it. You guys want a successful program that can be tournament bound every year. In the pursuit of doing that, they brought in Gordon and Nesbitt despite the red flags. The staff knew about Gordon's issues and his baggage. They knew about how it ended at Memphis under Penny with Nesbitt. Getting mad because Yuri ended it with a text doesn't even compare. But it is interesting the behaviors some will tolerate as long as it benefits them. The staff made a choice that they felt was best for them. Yuri has done the same...and he has that right. If you want the program to be a top 25 program.. players transferring are going to be something that the staff will have to factor in. How they build a team will have to change. Every transfer won't be just the ones you "love" but don't mind losing. As for this gray area that they allegedly don't cross...they have. I typed sounds good because I thought it was funny that he would say that.
  14. Yeah. I know there's a long list. If you have been following the conversation you would know I didn't introduce any of those names into the conversation. I only stated that it wasn't far fetched for Yuri to have heard they wanted to see him against better competition. If you disagree fine...
  15. Ja Morant. Steph Curry. Dame Lillard. Larry Bird. CJ McCollum. Larry Hughes. Yuri Collins.
  16. All three players you mentioned were NBA caliber players playing in a smaller conference. Telling a player of Yuri's status that scouts would like to see you against higher level talent isn't that far fetched.
  17. Not sure. I would imagine most of them would be. I was reading an article about a receiver...he was a redshirt freshman who got a deal with Bojangles. Didn't see his ranking coming out of high school.
