  1. How does that help with today, 3 star!? Am I supposed to hang out with my family now? Unacceptable. Just saw a tweet from Evansville writer saying no positive test today, just following protocols.
  2. I'd give anything to get drunk at Stan Musial & Biggies right now...
  3. What a cool stadium, thanks for sharing! No clue this ever existed. Impressive resume for the architect, Osborn Engineering Co.: League Park, 1909 Forbes Field, 1909 Comiskey Park, 1910 Griffith Stadium, 1911 Polo Grounds, 1911 Fenway Park, 1912 Tiger Stadium, 1912 Braves Field, 1915 Sportsman’s Park, 1922 renovations Kansas City Municipal Stadium, 1923 Yankee Stadium, 1923 Dill Field, 1925 Notre Dame Stadium, 1929 Edward J. Walsh Memorial Stadium, 1930 Milwaukee County Stadium, 1951 Metropolitan Stadium, 1955 RFK Stadium, 1959 Three Rivers Stadium, 1970 Ohio Stadium, 1999-2000 renovations
  4. Okay great, thank you. I saw the general Saint Louis University frames on their website but did not see one for basketball. I currently have a Saint Louis University Alumni frame on my car that I bought from the bookstore but wanted to update that to a basketball-specific one if I could.
  5. Is there no such thing as a Saint Louis University Basketball license plate frame? Cause I'd sure like to screw one of those onto my motor vehicle. Didn't see one pop up via the googles machine.
  6. HUGE improvement over last year's gray unis. Loved the striping and the color combo on these new ones. Last year's gray unis just looked cheap.
  7. Great box out at the end of this Wisconsin Marquette game. NOTTTTTTTTT Marquette wins by 2!
  8. I just want to remind everyone that we are still in the middle of a pandemic so there is no guarantee this game, or any other game, gets played. --OG
  9. No. I enjoy storytellers. Sometimes (not always) I'd rather listen to a rambling sexagenarian whose brain has been half eaten by acid tell tall tales versus 2 squares talking about 2 teams and their players I don't really care about. When I watch an MSU play Duke or a Gonzaga play Kansas I tune in to watch the game, not to listen to it. I don't need in-depth analysis to figure out OCHAI AGBAJI is good at basketball.
  10. Not sure about cost per tv but what I read last night said no contract required and I can cancel whenever I want with their streaming services. I just downgraded my HULU to premium package with no live TV. That took 2 minutes. Signing up for AT&T Live Now shouldn’t take much longer. Then I will be reunited with FSMW. https://www.atttvnow.com/roku I don’t know how any of this works but I can’t imagine that offer is only good for those of us with Roku.
  11. Looks like I need to make the switch to AT&T ASAP https://slubillikens.com/news/2020/12/1/mens-basketball-fox-sports-midwest-to-televise-seven-billiken-games.aspx
  12. I apologize because I'm sure the answer is probably on a previous page in this thread but will this game also be on ESPN+? If so, will it be blacked out in STL? I recall reading that most, if not all, of these non-con games would be on ESPN+ and they were hoping additional networks would pick them up along the way.
  13. Get it done! Meet in the middle and play at Mt. Vernon HS if you have to.
  14. Is that just their default start time? Didn’t they initially list the SLU vs LSU game at 11? I haven’t been looking closely at the schedules of other teams but an 11am start on Tuesday seems odd.
  15. Not sure where to put this one but.. Watching Caleb Love and UNC play UNLV in the “Maui Invitational” right now and man, I’d give just about anything for us to get the invite in the near future. Looks like 2021’s field is set but not sure how COVID affects future tournaments if at all. Perhaps we can replace Notre Dame next year since they’re a bunch of pansies. Also got me wondering, has SLU been rumored to play in any tourneys next season or is it too far off still? Announcing the 2021 Maui Invitational field in May of 2020 seemed a little aggressive. Seem to recall the Orlando classic being announced around this time last year but probably not remembering this correctly.
  16. Done and done. Do you accept Bitcoin?
  17. I heard they wanted to get in ASAP so they could load up the on best BBQ joint in the entire country: Bandana’s
  18. Yep. My wife's grandma is currently in the hospital with COVID and her aunt is really sick with COVID as well. My wife's great uncle (grandma's brother) died last week from complications due to COVID, less than 48 hours after being admitted. All of their cases get traced back to my wife's 2nd cousin who lives and works in Jeff Co where no mask mandate exists. She gave it to great uncle who gave it to his other sisters who then visited my wife's grandma who then gave it to my wife's aunt who takes care of grandma. Grandma and aunt live in STLCO. COVID doesn't care about county lines. Anywhooo, back to basketball and drinking....it sounds like I'll be going on my first 3 day bender in years! Drinking will commence at 6pm Wednesday night, carry through Thursday, into Friday, and then end with me passing out on the couch around 1:30pm Saturday. I just hope the kids are on their best behavior for my wife the next 5 days...
  19. Oh crap I need to figure that out as well. What are our options? AT&T Now (or whatever their app is called) or back to cable?
  20. Andy T doesn't seem like a ****** though...
  21. I assume he means Wednesday's opener against SIUE but considering how things have gone lately I won't believe any game day/time until the ball is thrown into the air.
  22. Why has no one suggested this: obviously some alterations would have to be made to allow players to shoot the ball
  23. That Athletic write-up...whoa mama...it's tsunami season in my Dungarees!
  24. I remember visiting my sister in Denver back around 2000 and could listen to KMOX at night. It's a big reason why there are a ton of Cardinals fans out west. A lot of the older fans grew up listening to Cardinals games on KMOX. 50k watts is entire coverage area I believe.
  25. Jeez Louise that is insane. I heard Indy preschool gyms can hold up to 2,500. Only problem (if they allow spectators) is pissing in a 2 foot tall urinal...
