Yep. My wife's grandma is currently in the hospital with COVID and her aunt is really sick with COVID as well. My wife's great uncle (grandma's brother) died last week from complications due to COVID, less than 48 hours after being admitted. All of their cases get traced back to my wife's 2nd cousin who lives and works in Jeff Co where no mask mandate exists. She gave it to great uncle who gave it to his other sisters who then visited my wife's grandma who then gave it to my wife's aunt who takes care of grandma. Grandma and aunt live in STLCO. COVID doesn't care about county lines. Anywhooo, back to basketball and drinking....it sounds like I'll be going on my first 3 day bender in years! Drinking will commence at 6pm Wednesday night, carry through Thursday, into Friday, and then end with me passing out on the couch around 1:30pm Saturday. I just hope the kids are on their best behavior for my wife the next 5 days...

I remember visiting my sister in Denver back around 2000 and could listen to KMOX at night. It's a big reason why there are a ton of Cardinals fans out west. A lot of the older fans grew up listening to Cardinals games on KMOX. 50k watts is entire coverage area I believe.

Sports is the only live tv that gets watched in my house and I got a lot more sports channels with Hulu Live than I did with cable. When I had cable I had to upgrade at least once every season in order to get some of the SLU games on CBSSN and FS2. Both of those channels were standard with Hulu Live, even with a cost savings of $30+/month, which was a big factor in cutting the cord. Since neither Spectrum or Directv let you add just one channel, the packages I had to add put me over $100/month and all I was watching was the Blues, Cardinals, SLU, and Premier League. Obviously not having FSMW now is going to be an issue but if it can be resolved by simply cancelling Hulu online and adding the AT&T Live app I'll just do that (avoiding Spectrum's BS customer service issues, hardware, contract, and annual price increases).

If there's a way for me to find the FSMW SLU games online I probably won't cancel....yet. You guys remember those days??!! 47 links, 500 viruses, 2 bourbons, and 30 minutes later...the joy of finally finding a workable stream for the SLU vs Oregon State game! If that isn't an option I'm going to have to make the switch to AT&T streaming and sign a GD yearlong contract . The next 6 months isn't the time to be making a stand against live streaming services.

You're darn tootin' they do. Well, at least they did as of 6 weeks ago when Cardinals game were still on. In addition to FSMW, Hulu Live also includes: ACCN, BTN, CBSSN, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN College, ESPNU, ESPN News, FS1, FS2, Golf Channel, NBCSN, Olympic Channel, and SEC. I think there have only been a few games the last 2 seasons (the ESPN+ games) that weren't covered with my Hulu Live subscription. I'm pretty sure there is a Hulu/Disney/ESPN+ bundle you can do which would essentially cover every single game. In fact I need to look into that because I have 3 separate subscriptions which means I'm probably overpaying. If you don't have kids then it probably doesn't make sense to get that bundle. Although the Disney channel includes Marvel, Star Wars, 20th Century, and Nat Geo so it isn't necessarily just for kids.

Good lord I hope you are joking. Watching basketball pre-2017 or so always gave me horrible anxiety. The thought of my shorts touching any part of my leg at or below my kneecap makes me hyperventilate. Watching 10 people running around with their shorts touching their shinbones prompted me to place my therapist on speed dial. No issues with Hulu Live thus far...

Good call, forgot the home games vs Dayton and VCU were both Friday night ESPN2 games last season. 5 potential ESPN2/U games this year has me fully torqued!

My guess is 1 of the Richmond games and the Dayton game end up on ESPNU or ESPN2 with the remaining 3 on the +. Would be sweet if it's more. I would be completely shocked if FSMW didn't pick up the remaining games. Although looking back on previous seasons, did FSMW do any conference games? I honestly can't remember. I know they do the bulk of non-con games... Tough schedule I love it!

Yep, we are 1 game away (OSU) from locking up the top 3 teams in the Lincoln MTE, according to Top 144. If we can round it out with a game against OSU we've replaced our 3 toughest non-conference opponents (assuming we would've played MSU which wasn't guaranteed): (Top 144 rankings) MSU (Top 20) —> LSU (Top 20) Memphis (33) —> OSU (32) SDSU (47) —> Northern Iowa (50)

Not sure which article/chat forum I read it in but I recall reading about a match up between LSU and one of the other Nebraska MTE teams (might have been San Francisco), so that would be 2 games for LSU. Not sure how many games they plan on playing but let's hope they can squeeze one in against SLU!

Top 144 was my lone benchmark as well and completely missed their #32 ranking (I blame it on my shoddy internet service which made scrolling through the list a chore ) I assumed they weren’t in top 144 which seemed impossible. Thanks for setting me straight. I’d like to revise my previous comment: LSU, OSU, and Northern Iowa would be ideal but probably a long shot. 2 of those 3 and Western Kentucky would be decent as well. went back through Top 144 to check out rankings (in parenthesis): MSU (Top 21) —> LSU (Top 21) Memphis (33) —> OSU (32) SDSU (47) —> Northern Iowa (50) Other Lincoln MTE teams: Western KY (68), Nevada (96), San Francisco (115), Nebraska (134) Scheduled non-conference opponents: Minnesota (105), Indiana State (110) I’m sure I missed a few other teams of interest (don’t think SIU was on there?) but we have still have an opportunity to come away with a decent non-conference schedule given the circumstances.
