Here's a fun little stat re: the rotation: Per kenpom, we are currently in first place... In... Bench minutes (48.3%) As a point of reference, Kentucky and their "platoons" are 2nd at 45.4%.

I asked a friend whom I've forced to watch all the games with me what he thought of everyone on the boards being so low on our team and on our coach. If anyone is interested in a big college basketball fan--but not a bills fan--thinks of where our team is right now: "I get it. I mean SLU was good the last couple of years and people got used to that level of play. But those classes are gone and you are left with a bunch of players that came in during a coaching transition or are the first class that is Crews alone When freshmen who aren't McD AA type talent or 1-2 and done types are getting 60% of the minutes there is going to be a lot of growing pains BUT on the flip side they are getting the chance to play high level basketball in actual games together and they will for 3.5 more years. It is a trial by fire and I would bet a decent amount of money that by the spring of 2016 nobody is going to want to play them and by spring of 2017 they are going to be a force Add in to that, they seem to be in the mix for some decent mid level talent next year and I would guess that will be the norm now. So you are constantly restocking with a few new talented guys. That will play with the now freshmen as they get better. Crews really took over a rebuilding situation but it was delayed. They missed out on a couple of years of recruiting and its just showing now, but this was a good year for them and it sounds like next year will be too. Yeah it sucks going from going to the NCAA 3 years in a row and being a top 10 top 25 team pretty consistently but they are in a position to build a consistently strong program."

Agree, the intrust arena was a great atmosphere. The WSU fans I went with were disappointed that the game wasn't at Koch Arena, though--I think they are pretty proud of it. My impression is that it is pretty similar to the fetz so I hope the game is there in '16, although that might make tickets a little harder to get/more expensive. I think my ticket was like 13 bucks. I was up in section 207 and was yelling and adamantly cheering for the bills and thought I was going to get murdered by some of the fans, but what do you expect, I guess... There was not a lot of blue in my section. One older gentleman sitting in front of me did shake my hand at the end of the game; I told him thanks for putting up with me, and he said he respects any fan that can hold their own in such a hostile environment.

I'll be there. The boyfriend's family is from Wichita, so I'll be the girl decked out in blue surrounded by a group of people who I imagine will be very annoyed. Related: Anyone know if they serve beer?

My stream also went out around then. Stream just quit working and when I tried to reopen it got an error from VLC: "Your input can't be opened. VLC cannot open the MRL... Check the log for details." I watched one of the lower quality streams for a whole then tried the better ones again and it was fine. For the record, I'm using a macbook pro and had no issues getting the VLC stream to work and did not need to mess with the firewall at all or anything like that.

Maybe it shouldn't be a big deal. But it is. Because he's the first. For some reason, NFL players or prospective draft picks haven't been coming out in droves. One explanation for this is that there simply have never been any gay NFL players. A more probable explanation is that there's still a huge stigma to being a gay professional athlete, when pro athletes are expected to uphold a very specifically prescribed version of masculinity. Sam is trying to change that. No reason we can't tip our hats to him on this board.

Does anyone else in the KC area have a problem where the local fox sports Midwest plays more local events (tonight it's k state women's bball) instead of the billies? If so is there a way to get around it or am I stuck with streams?
