A look back and forward on the rankings; if we won the two games we lost how high would we be ranked? seems we would be where WS is now. If we beat them and lost to Wisconsin we would probably be right behind San Diego State, and close to that if other way around. If we win out through Philly I think we have a chance to crack top 10. Mainly on the idea that a lot of higher ranked teams have tough 2 weeks some of which involve games against each other where one ahead of us have to lose. No one ahead of us except Wichita State has easier remaining schedule than we do.

When he does do a column on us I guarantee it will be of a tone of "knuckleheads on social media have hounded me" or some straw man/boogie man BS that is his medium.

We surely have to take them one game at a time but the way we are coming together is starting to remind me of post R I last year. Jett is giving us a super charged upturn like DE did last year at this time. Plus this season A 10 not nearly as good as last years. VCU and Butler as 2 and 3 were tougher than VCU and Umass this year. no X or Temple. It took a while to really feel it but team is now playing like we thought they might as we were returning 4 senior starters.

agree especially the Burnes and Broeg parts. The reason I got tickets in first place was to help support the local team, a vibe nurtured by the twin double B's of the 2 st louis papers. The team is named after our city, if one supports the city it would seem that support of the team named after said city would come naturally. It feeds off each other. If the paper was always talking about SLU more people would be interested. Now with the success of the last few years not being over covered is almost criminal. And as always I will point out #1 reason we should be followed is we are the only game in town (no offense SIUE).
