Aren't they the ultimate by default. They are the only source of recruiting information at this time. They are doing a lot of work for free and sharing the information with us. You shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth.

I am going to make the assumption that you do not have children. Any reasonable parent with a child who cannot leave a dark room without a severe headache or pain would want their child close to them. Also, what kind of assurances do you think the medical staff could make with the above situation lasting 4+ months.

I should have been more clear. Prefacing statements like I had a 35 ACT score or my dad went to Harvard to add credibility to your statements will only detract from them. One day you will realize how meaningless all of this is. People will realize you are smart by their interactions with you rather than rattling off you curriculum vitae or announcing your pedigree.

My dad's highest level of education is high school, I didn't take the ACT and read this board daily. I sound almost as ridiculous as you do right now.

Very well put and completely agree with everything here. I would only add the officiating was terribly inconsistent. I can deal with bad calls but as long as they are consistently bad. I was afraid the zebras could have let things spin out of control at some point, especially with our team being so young. Good game tonight!!

What would be interesting is to see how MM would do with a supporting cast of KL, TL3, BE, and WR. His supporting cast is a little different than KM's supporting cast as a frosh.

At this point in time right now I think that BC, DE and MM could be interchangeable. KC would be the last pick for me on this list. I picked BC but could have picked the other two mentioned previously. They seem to rotate game by game as to whom will be the player of the game.

There are no captains on this team right now by definition. You can assign the title to the oldest or most experienced but if you were to give it to a true leader then you would be hard-pressed to give it to anyone other than PE. Do you ever see KC coaching or mentoring any of the other players on the court? You may say he is a captain this year but the title holds little to no value. I am accepting that he is an Indian and not a chief and I have lowered my expectations of him accordingly.

What!?!? A captain is a leader and a role player does what he is told. Seems that everyone agrees he is a good player but is incapable of being the best player, go-to-guy or leader; hence, calling him a captain-type is totally insane.

What is interesting about that rivalry is that after the Duke game we went to see UNC play Long Beach State. The people at the concession gave me free drinks because I was wearing SLU gear. They said since we lost to Duke that they would cover our drinks. They said they don't care who wins as long as it is not Duke. Everyone in our section and random people walking in the common area were giving their condolences as they knew we got beat by Duke earlier that day. They were much nicer than the Duke crowd.

That is 91.7% of our fanbase that will not attend.
