Who kidnapped the Cardinals? They haven't shown up for the past 3 games! This is SAD!!!

Yeah, I tiny part of me felt bad for the Nationals fans. From total jubilation to the depths of sorrow. They witnessed history, but it sure didn't end the way they thought it was going to. Their team was the best it had been in years (ever?) and was going into the playoffs with the best record in baseball. They deserved to win. I do feel for them, but that's the game of baseball. And lately, that's the Cardinals!

The Cards have become my "adopted" home-town team since my kid is at SLU. Once my team's season is done, I root for the Cardinals. They have sure been fun to watch. Tonight's comeback was stunning. I sure hope they can go all the way - again!

What I usually do is right click on the image & choose "View Image". That takes you to another window. Copy the url from that window & then come here & in the message box (where you type your reply), choose the "Image" icon on the toolbar above the message box. It's in the second row, 11th from the left. It's just to the left of the brackets <>. Then paste the url you copied earlier & your picture should appear. Hope that helps.

This is getting crazy. I'm about ready to bring my kid home...... From SLU Public Safety: Information about the following off campus incident is being shared for your general awareness. At about 12:40am, an individual not affiliated with the University, was injured when he was shot while sitting in his vehicle on the 3200 block of Olive near Club Dantes. Shots were fired by an unknown subject from a moving vehicle that fled the scene away from the University. The Metropolitan Police responded and are investigating.

If SLU's security measures are this lacking, aren't they opening themselves up to lawsuits, should someone (again, God forbid) get hurt?

She screamed, and he ran off. Authorities did not have a detailed description of the man, and a camera in the garage was not operating at the time, according to a police report." Come on, SLU. We expect you to take every precaution to keep our kids safe. Thank God this woman was able to get away unhurt. But all security cameras on campus should be working. Heck, install some more cameras. Take it from the sculpture budget if you have to. Do we know for sure that the emergency call boxes all work? Let's do what it takes to make SLU a safe place!

Something that troubles me is that RM seems to be going through this alone. The players have not been able to talk to him. No one knows where he is. Does RM have any family or friends in CA that might be with him? If not, wouldn't it be nice if his players and fans could at least send him a card or note with their wishes for his recovery?

Let's all pray that he will.

Hopefully the police have enough info to have a suspect; now, I just pray they can find the punk & put him away for this terrible tragedy. This is just so senseless.

This is so tragic. My daughter knew her too & was very upset when she got the news. What in the world could have caused someone to do this? Another idiot who should never have been able to get a gun. Thoughts & prayers go out to her family & friends.

Biondi needs to do some serious damage control ASAP. A lot of bad publicity for SLU this week.

The women's softball team was without a coach all summer 2 years ago. They named a coach like a few days, maybe a week, before school started - too late for anyone to consider transferring. That position was never advertised nationally, either.

Just a quick update - SLU has still not put this position on the NCAA job market site. And I doubt they ever will. Women's sports are VERY low priority at SLU. Sad.....
