Who do you think the starting 5 will be?

Happy Friday, the picture is the new shirt that I ordered that arrived the day situation 2 showed up as a new thread.  I am a long-time Billikens fan and first time season ticket holder so the situation 2 crushed me and my better half.
Since no charges have been filed and the players have retained lawyers I am happy that I do not know the names of anyone involved both sides.  One thing I take away from our team is that I have no suspicion of any players on our team that could be involved and that says a lot about the character of our team.
Everyone involved is young and have their whole life in front of them and I hope whoever is in the wrong on this learns a valuable lesson and picks of the pieces and has a happy productive life.
Sexual assaults are a problem and I have two granddaughters that are 12 and 13 that I will put through college that I want protected.  I feel for the parents of the three young women and the players no matter what the outcome is.
If the players are not charged I do not think there will be suspensions that the public will know about because if it is not done privately within the team, then we will all know the names of the players involved.
I hope we all move away from this thread and go back to recruiting 2018.  I am interested to know if situation 2 will make a difference on getting a fall commitment and more important a good feeling about a fall commitment.
I hope everyone can move on to the positive have a great weekend and a new great week and wait for the legal process to play out.

Hilarious, if true.

Why? Seems about as positive as one could expect in something like this. Likely no criminal charges. Will be some SLU punishment but difficult to say how much. 

Assuming this will be the guys' case. As it was for the first incident, no? 
ALSO, can't believe I came to check on this thread just to read a bunch of bickering about the Duke LAX case. Get a grip people. You don't have to change the world here 

Billikens.com never ceases to amaze me. Somehow, a thread on very serious *sexual*assault* allegation against SLU athletes has turned into a discussion on white privilege. 
 

Meh! SLU baseball players were always far sleazier than the basketball players. Why couldn't this have been 4 baseball players accused (and not guilty of course)? Can someone just say with a simple yes or no if [a particular player] was one of the individuals accused? I'm trying to decide whether or not to donate my season tickets...

Bess left MSU, reportedly committed to Akron on May 15, reportedly decommitted on May 20, and committed to SLU on June 2.
Everything happening in a short time span like that it seems highly likely that a reporter jumped the gun after talking with someone connected to Bess and that Bess never actually committed to Akron.  He "never acknowledged the [Akron] commitment on social media and didn't sign paperwork with the school."
Contrast that with Cuonzo who has gotten guys who have previously signed LOIs or previously had a verbal commitment that they publicly announced on social media.

I was happy they won.
Unfortunately it is not a harbinger of things to come.
