  1. Rick's in the Fastlane on ESPN101 right now as well.
  2. So many pictures. The people at Hi/Tec Copy (Big Bend and FoPa, across from Wash U) did a great job with our design. When I ordered it I thought 42"x42" was going to be a little smaller than we wanted.. ended up being sneaky huge. Love that Rick thought I was "probably some restaurant owner" when asked about it at Friday's post-game presser.
  3. Way bigger turnout than I expected. The pre-game receptions were top-notch. We scalped tickets to both games, and as we were buying tickets yesterday a fellow SLU fan came over to check out our SLUperman sign and handed us an extra ticket on the spot. Too generous. Billiken fever was contagious. Amazing weekend. ThisClose.
  4. 6am. Does MoSt even have a message board? Go there.
  5. Any word on whether Stamos is hitting up the reception tomorrow?
  6. Nice I must have missed that, much appreciated. P.S. Anyone still looking for tickets there are a bunch available for around $45 here- http://www.ticketnetwork.com/tix/ncaa-mens-basketball-tournament-rounds-2-3-session-2-michigan-state-vs-liu-memphis-vs-st-louis-03-16-2012-tickets-1636168.aspx
  7. Has there been a discussion about bars for before the game tomorrow? Arriving in town around 1-2 eastern, looking to get rowdy.
  8. Rome is the man. The Anti-Colin Cowherd if you will.
  9. Your handle is "MoStBear...". You're on a SLU message board. It pains everyone to read your posts. Your handle should be "THAT GUY".
  10. No one else just planning on scalping & moving as close as possible? Will it really be that packed?
  11. What are you 12? Show a little respect, grow up, both. You sound like a jackass. Go ahead and reply with "that comment is offensive to donkeys". You clever, clever man.
  12. Feel bad Rick is going to have to school a nice young man in Coach Pastner on national television. I'll have Memphis advancing pretty far in my bracket... next year.
  13. No. 9 Saint Louis over No. 8 Memphis: Memphis was under-seeded, and the selection committee did the Tigers no favors with Saint Louis from a matchup perspective. Saint Louis is able to slow teams down and can take care of the ball. Memphis has to defend and rebound to get out and run, but the Billikens don't give up the ball easily. This is a matchup win for Saint Louis, and a committee loss for Memphis. - Jay Bilas Take some Kool-Aid and pass it around, BEAT MEMPHIS, & let's throw the kitchen sink at Mich. St.
  14. Going with a group of 5, and as have now we've come to the conclusion Nationwide is a 20,000 seat arena, and are guessing attendance would be anywhere from 10,000-15,000 per session? Complete guess. But should be feasible to hit the streets for the cheapest tickets possible and navigate our way to the best seats possible once we're inside. Bad idea, good idea?
  15. Also thought about staying there before reading this.. try not to laugh out loud: “Disgusting!!” 1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2011 The first room I was given had a CAT in it!! Yes, I said cat. I asked for my money back, all of a sudden, no one spoke english...go figure! The second room was so gross, I didn't even make it beyond the bed. Writing on the walls, dirty floors, smelled something awful. Front desk still did not want to give me my money back. Third room, not AS gross as the first two. Still, undesirable for the money. T.V. did not work, bathroom door would not shut, bed was not made properly, mirrors were smudged, one garbage can, dirty toilet, a non-smoking room that stunk of smoke, and had cigarrette burns on the counters, and bathtub?? Oh, but someone left me spare ketchup in the nightstand, just incase I needed it!! Do not stay here, I came home with red bug bites on my legs. Called the hotel, they hung up on me 2x's. I will pursue this matter. This place needs to be condemned. Beyond disgusting is more like it!!
  16. I'm sorry, I was born in 1988, do people still depend on newspapers for their (Billiken) news? There's this thing called the internet... you can literally look up whatever the hell you want and read all about it. It's awesome. The average SLU student, let alone the average St. Louisan, doesn't give a 2 sh*ts about the Billikens. So - get this - the PD provides coverage as such. Because, you know, it's kind of in their best interest to print stories people care about. St. Louis = front-running city (see: Rams, Blues.. Cards being the exception). When the Bills are consistently ranked and mentioned among the nation's top teams (like say, Missouri this year!), the people will follow, the papers will follow, and you can wave around the front page of the sports section for days as if people actually give a f*ck as to what the PD deems 'important'. Cheesycow - Median age of a Billiken board poster +/- 53? New favorite hobby: coming home from the bar and seeing which irrelevant issue has people up in arms on my beloved Billikens board. Last night it was something involving illegal phone calls, hypothetical recruiting violations, and if SLU should become the next Kentucky. Good thing I don't value sleep. THE. BILLS. ARE. DANCING!
  17. Posted in the Temple GDT- I know all bubble talk will cease in about 90 minutes when SLU is rolling up La Salle 28-11 in the first half- but just in case: "@AndyGlockner: Yes. RT @bleibforth: @AndyGlockner: SLU is locked in even if they get upset tonight?" "@tomtimm: BREAKING Lunardi tells me that he has just moved SLU into NCAA lock category based on losses elsewhere today. Xavier needs a win, Dayton 2." "@JayBilas: Hey, bubble boys: better start rooting for Saint Louis to win A10." All within the last hour. Hope you boys took off next week, enjoy this weekend!

  19. Bingooo. If someone says they doesn't mind a little rule bending, that is their opinion. They are still allowed to be a fan.. sorry. "Condeming" someone on a message board... actually that's kind of funny. Along with the scenario in which SLU becomes the next UK. Can we please get back to the quote in the article where Rick says, "We'll be a Top 10 team in about three years... I did it at Ball State, did it at Utah, and we're going to do it here." I have cranked it to this article at least 3 dozen times. Tell me I'm not alone.
  20. These are great. The night time is the right time.
  21. @ESPNAndyKatz - "Temple's departure from A 10 in 2013 is quite a blow to hoops. The Owls are the standard with Xavier in hoops. Now SLU needs to stay on top"
  22. Lol. I'm pretty sure Syracuse/Kentucky have done enough to 'merit inclusion' in this year's tournament.
