Agree on the leadership thing. There is no leader on the court tonight. One time I saw Rob call out someone for a missed defensive assignment. Didn't see anything else. Kwamain can lead on the bench, but this team desperately needs him back on the floor tonight. He wouldn't have let the offense stall like it did last night. As far as the timeouts go, Crews tried to call one late in the first half but the ref didn't see or hear him and Jordair went on to score. Still, he should have used a timeout 5 minutes into the game. Majerus might have used 4 timeouts just in the first half.

I don't know about anyone else, but I was absolutely begging someone to take a jump shot at one point last night. Every possession was either a turnover or a guy driving to the basket. I don't see any off the ball movement at all. After we run our first 7 seconds of the offense, it goes to one on one streetball. Glaze is terrible. I like his intensity and his personality but he's lost everywhere on the court.

Crews and the players said repeatedly that this is still Majerus' team. Well it doesn't look that way to me in any way. Not the offense. Not the defense. Not the way we look. Not the attitude.

I'd say the teams' effort matched the fans tonight. 5058 was the official attendance.

Kristo is out with a foot injury

We only had 500 more people at the season opener this year than we did last year. Last year we were coming off of a 12-19 season and this year we're coming off a tournament appearance. Not good.

I saw the the player who was mouthing off to Skip. Butler needed to win to qualify for the A10 tournament and keep their season alive so they got pretty chippy and dirty at the end, Skip said something to the extent of "Hey let's keep this under control. Our guys still got games to play. Your season is over."
