Recruiting simply doesn't work like that. If a team knows enough about someone to know they're a lean somewhere they will have already decided to offer or not. It doesn't work the opposite way.

We'll be fine at PG. Very few PG's today are true distributing point guards. We have plenty of athletic guys who can handle the ball. And if you're a well disciplined team the passes will get where they need to be.

The last time we played @Missouri State they were on Christmas break as well, fwiw. The situation involving them invading our student section was embarrassing but we have no one to blame but ourselves for that. Why weren't all of our students from St. Louis at the game? The year Kwamain had the eye injury was unfortunate and we likely would've won if he wouldn't have been hurt. The next year we could've had a great squad and won but the situation happened

It's somewhat of a crapshoot with MVC teams anyways. They've struggled recently but have a lot of talent and should be one of the better teams in their conference for the next few seasons

We already had 3 MVC teams scheduled. Look for a series to start back up after this season

I think we looked better thoughout the season in 11-12 and 12-13 but I'm still going to take the team with a senior Jordair Jett if I have to decide between the teams. I'm not sure that we even fully realize how dominant he was last season.

St. Louis has been getting crucified all week on every national news channel. This could hurt recruiting and is definitely terrible for our city.

Quality>Quantity. Fitting in a few more characters is a poor excuse for not doing things properly, IMO. We are Saint Louis University. The Post's policy of not putting it correctly spews of stubbornness and laziness.

I don't want to get too far into this because I don't want to bash Tom but I will say I wish he would've written more about the actual basketball team than his stupid adventures on the road. Recruiting info would've been nice and he could have easily obtained it if he wanted to.

I'm still shocked we lost that game but it showed me just how good that Wichita State team was. I think that was one of our better performances of the season and they still managed to come back late and beat us on our home court. VanVleet + Ron Baker is a serious backcourt duo

I've never understood why people want us to change our recruiting and team building strategy after 3 straight NCAA tournament appearances. I want the staff to identify guys who will fit into our system and buy into what we are trying to do. If those players are 5 star recruits, great! If they are borderline 3 star recruits, great! As we should know from playing teams like Washington, recruiting stars don't win games. Just my 2 cents.

Not positive, but I do know that Roy still reads the board regularly. I'm assuming that's how most of these guys are. Hopefully they return in the future
