I don’t put much stock in him, but maybe it will be improvement from Lorentson, who definitely brings something different. The best I have seen from him was the 5 seconds in the video a month ago. We will see, he looked stiff running the court last year.

If you think about it, they may not care. As long as the use is not in a profane manner or a questionable industry (ie. Drugs or the sex trade), then this is just free advertising. I am sure they would care if the advertisements move to national spots, but otherwise, it is likely a small dollar amount.

Which court and convention?

I would advise him to be selfish now. He has already committed. There will be a lot of people taking shots from him in college, and he will have to take a back seat at times, or risk not getting PT. At BBE, it really doesn’t matter anymore, now that he has committed. Let it rip.

Giannis averaged 4 rebounds in his second year, at 31 minutes per game. Zion averaged 7.

After writing this and looking at the Pelicans depth chart, they are definitely a team that should take a runner on Goodwin. As a backup to Bledsoe, with a 5% chance to replace him. Why not. What second round draft option would be a better fit for their long term? They need a good court-stretching, rebounding PF/center. That is not coming in round 2.
-
That is a little harsh. He averaged 27 pts on 61% shooting. That was the best in the NBA for anyone scoring over 20 pts. Giannis was next at 56%. Certainly, more rebounds, true, but it was Zion’s second year, right? Who else has done anything better than that in the NBA? That team should focus on getting more rebounding. Trade some players, or maybe draft the best rebounding combo guard of the last 20 years. Something.

Zion Williamson is young, no one knows what he will become, but he is the love child of Michael Jordan and Shaquille O’neal, so there is that.

Two words: Jordan Goodwin.

That is an impressive write up. Really makes it look like he will get drafted!

It will be interesting to watch how the team evolves. We always think of how big of a loss Goodwin is, because he was arguably the best player. However, French’s departure will probably have a bigger impact. The whole style of play has been based around his style since he was a freshman. Bully ball was kind of tailored to his strengths. Fred Thatch is kind of a Goodwin molded player. I don’t know that Okoro is a French molded player. That said, we have lost a lot of rebounding. We will need to be able to rebound equivalently to our competition. Can Okoro rebound at that rate? I think Fred Thatch (or maybe if one of the other wings proves an ability to rebound) will have to play a ton if we go with a smaller lineup. Maybe any lineup.

Awesome. This is a team that fits who he is as a player. They might be able to get the most value out of him.

I think it is impressive that Kramer took 8 shots. It shows confidence in his scoring ability. I hope he keeps that up. It seems sometimes like that is the defining characteristic of a standout college scorer.

It should be 70.5% or 71%. Shot calculators trying to bring our boys down!

Congrats Mr. Thames! You made the right choice. No one here even really thinks about your other options! As fans, we are solely focused on winning, and not dragging down the competition!

Who is the legacy NBA superstar?
-
Deandre Jones averaged 4 turnovers to 3.7 assists last year. I remember thinking that he would be a tough player if he wasn’t out of control the whole time. Not sure how you coach that out of a senior in 1 year. Even when he had 6 assists, he had 3.5 turnovers. He is fast, he just may or may not play at that speed with the ball in his hands.

The guy who turned it over 7 times against us?
