It's always fun to play you guys here in Otterville because the fans love a good game and anytime the Bonnies win it feels good. Just like when we won the Atlantic 10 Conference last season, remember. I had to laugh when slu72 said the Bonnies wouldn't even get to the play-offs. I think we have a little surprise waiting here for you this year. AND by adding VCU and Butler the competition has just gone up a few notches.

This type of repeat speculation so early in the season is dangerous.

Pelican - wrong. Get a map and follow the River system yourself. This is how we spell "Allegeny" up here, I know there are variations. Gosh I think the Welders WON the Atlantic 10 this year! That Monkey is now off our back. The Billikens end the year second in the conference and they just faded away in the play-offs. Ouch. The cost and expense of sending your teams all the way to the East Coast must be a lot. I personally hope you stay in the A10 your a lot of fun and billenfan05 is just TOO much.

St Bonaventure sits right on the banks of the Allegeny River, head waters to the Mississippi. Talk up here in Otterville is Butler and VCU are coming and Creighton is out. One other possible but, most likely next year because one if not two more schools will leave the A-10. (one of them most likely the Billikens)

As the Champions of the Atlantic 10 we come in peace. ( don't know were you finished in the standings ) BUT, anyways it felt good watching the Bonnies cut down the nets. And next year I hope you guys can end up in 8th or 9th place. This league will be better and stronger than last year and the 1st place team could have 4 or 5 loses. The St Bonaventure Brown Indians will once again be the surprise of the A-10. All of us here in Otterville, oops I mean Olean, the Home of the Enchanted Mountains ( were we don't have to worry about Tornados all summer long not to mention the gang infestation through out all of St Louis ) feel that the Bonnies will once again win the Atlantic 10. And the Billikens get to travel to Meca ( Olean ) next season. CAN'T WAIT. Not to mention that the Lady Bonnies are playing in the Women's NCAA Sweet 16 on Sunday March 25. Rumor has it that the cold/flu bug is going though the campus. SLU should not have a hard time winning this game. Conklin and Loe will dominate. Good matchup will be Cassidy and #3 Finn. Bonnies could get spanked again when they travel to Buffalo to take on the UB Bulls, who, as we know, just punished Dayton on their home court by 30 points. I watched the game on the Dayton feed. Looked as if they had no answer for the Bulls big men plus they were tossing in three's from all over the court. Ya we ain't no where Homey. Its a big deal moving the finals to NYC. I think that all the A10 schools will benifit from it. That is why I think the A10 will stay like it is. SLU is way out on the Western Front. I, for one, enjoy our little rivalry (you being the Big Brother Jesuits and us being the small and meek Franciscans Friars) But I think that Economics win out and will take over and cost wise it is just getting too expensive for the Billikens to continue to send their sports teams Eastward. Therefore, I feel that it would be in your best interest to find a Conference more suited to your local area. Good Luck

Bonaguy - peace be with you my brother. Ya I'am guilty of teasing these guys on purpose and having alot of fun and good laughs at there expense -sorry - and your right I dont rep all of the GREAT fans we have throughout the world. Last year when the Billies visited the RC a couple of their fans made the trip from Buffalo and Rochester and were great people. As a matter of fact SLU team bus broke down on the way to Olean from the Buffalo airport and Coach Schmidt sent a bus to pick them up. I would call this practicing our Franciscan values. Its humerous to read their weld retorts and my put backs - and again - yes, Bonaguy it is wrong to do it but, I feel that one of us must standup to them and give them a little of the own medicine. As you have seen you were as nice as pie but, one of them is just plain MEAN. And I just love when the teams get all upset because they have to Travel to Olean to play their game with the Bonnies. It just give us an advantage or an edge over the visitig team. I want to keep them thinking that travel to and from the airport is by snoe moble or by the Amish taxi service using horse and buggy. The only team that has figured it out is Dayton. They come a couple of days early - go out to the different resturants, go to the movies, go to Ellicotville and use the SBU library to study. AND YES, SBU DOES HAVE WiFi and a coffee bar. In fact the Bonaventure Dinning Hall resently was vote thr Best in the country. I even go there to eat! Bonaguy - I really think that we have a good team this year and just might surprise some teams in the A10. WOW this is a tough crowd !! Even dead horse must be afraid of this place! Your right that is a partial view of the SBU campus. SLU must have a huge campus, very modern with Wi-Fi and free coffee. You have a student body of what 30,000 vs St Bonaventure of 1,000 + and you still can't beat their team of corn shuckers.
