This. I had to work today so I was unable to attend. I dVR'd the game and just finised watching. My DVR recording cut off with 1:15 to go. If the ovation would of gone on longer I would of missed even more of the game. I would have been all types of pissed if it had been a tie game and then my feed cut off. I now know to set the DVR for an extra 30 minutes just in case,

The OP stated "keep him for 5 years" I like Stallings just pointing that being able to keep him or not wouldnt matter in this pole. Id go Self. It was a toss up between him, Izzo, and Coach K for me. In this scenario I would want a guy who has already won it all and has the ability to bring in a ton of All americans ready to make an impact right away. With only 5 years to work with I want a guy who can get great players and win in his first year. I think it would take a guy like Stevens a few years to get his guys. Then we would only have a year or two of winning with his guys...then he is gone.

Anybody know what will happen with the Bills game when the Georgia Indiana, currently on ESPNU, goes long? They cant move the start to ESPN2 because MSU UNC will be late in the 2nd. ESPN will be in monday night football mode starting at 530 so they are out. Do they use an alternate station for the beginnings of games?

I like Duke but am I missing something here? Rules are rules. If you take ANY amount of money it is against NCAA rules and those games should have been vacated. It doesnt matter what it was for, how much it was, or if other schools are doing it too. Remember Majerus' Utes received 3 years probation for taking Keith Van Horn to breakfast after his father passed and for taking another player for pizza to discuss his upcoming mormon mission. THose dont seem like a big deal to me but rules were broken and the school was punished. I can get pulled over with a gram of coke or an 8-ball and either way Im getting arrested. I can get pulled over doing 70 in a 60 or 90 in a 60 either way I am getting a ticket. I think the NCAA can be overly strict on a lot of things but those are the rules and until they are changed they need to be followed. The NCAA should not pick and choose when to inforce the rules and who to inforce them against.

We walked into Dillards and Monroe Douglas, who was on the team at the time, was in there with some gal. My dad pointed him out to me and I immediately wanted to get an autograph. So I went over to him and he gave me an autograph. I guess that didn't happen often because he was happy as a clam. Now that I'm older I think about that and figure he owes me. The gal with him was probably so impressed that she blew him on the drive home.
