I have always really liked 247 sports' crystal ball. After seeing seven different recruiting "experts" flip Gordon to Mizzou, I think I am going to call it quits with them. They seem to know just as much as a casual message board or tweet reader. They just jump on the bandwagon and do whatever they can to earn points despite not actually knowing anything.

Humps is certainly being sold in the very near future. The current plan is for the potential new owners to make some changes and open it back up as a bar, but there are some obstacles (required renovation costs in particular) that could mess with that plan.

I tried using the defense that I was selling at cost with the Air Jordair shirts when talking to the Athletic Department about the Cease and Desist. They stated that because someone somewhere was making money (the shirt makers, the ink providers, etc.), the shirts were still against the rules.

Based on every game so far this season, not a chance. Biondi stands more than the student section. Thankfully the band always brings it, let's hope the nerds sitting next to them get hammered for this one and bring a little life.

Parents are coming to town the weekend of the VCU game and I am looking for two extra tickets (I know, join the club). I have a season ticket and would be willing to give up my seat for the last three home games if you would like to trade. I could also likely get more than one ticket to one of those games but that is not a guarantee.

That was an issue indeed. There were just multiple times that they weren't really in sync. Some sections a half second behind others.

Sitting across the way with a bunch of the young alumni season ticket holders, there were times when I completely forgot the student section was even there. Very quiet. The band was a little off too, but we all know they will work the kinks out in no time.

I approve this message. Me and a buddy just got season tickets knowing that we will miss half the games.

I heard a couple years ago someone say it used to be the Dukes, but I have never found a drop of info to back that up. That was also my High School mascot so I found that neat and am going to choose to believe it.

I should probably stay out of the t-shirt making business for a little bit. If there is nothing to do with SLU or a players "likeness", then I don't think it's a problem. But since it would still be pretty obvious to anyone around SLU who the shirt is about, it could be a sticky situation. In terms of these causing eligibility problems, there shouldn't be much of an issue. The real problems arise if there are hundreds of these things going around and the Athletic Department doesn't make an effort to stop it quickly or the players are somehow involved/wear the stuff. I don't know what kind of lawsuits could arise but I would imagine the t-shirt distributer would be punished before a player is.

Cease and Desist from the athletics department... I was planning to order the new batch of shirts on Monday so unfortunately, at this point, anyone who filled out that form will not be getting a shirt. I replied to the email stating that it is not a commercial product, I am not profiting, and JJ played no part in the development of the t-shirt. I'm pretty sure I am not breaking any rules but I don't blame them for wanting to be on the safe side. I have yet to get a response from them and I doubt I ever will. If I can somehow prove that I am selling the shirts at cost (which would be closer to $8 due to the large number of orders) then you will all be the first to know.
