i am not sure how you measure a good x and o guy, but i think ford has done an outstanding job of adapting to the personnel he is given. i would certainly not say he doesnt know x and o. the job he did getting last years team ready for the tournament run was absolutely outstanding.

I am for some home cooking, the 3's dropping and THE LOCOMOTIVE holding his own for a few minutes. this could be a very good win

agree 05, there is no reason to be insulting to the players, ford thinks he is ready for the minutes he gets. if he was a dominant big from the start he likely would be on a power five team. critique and criticism are not the same and some on this board dont know the difference

i am perplexed by the hankton bashing. he played ten minutes and it seems some would relegate him to the dust bin. great game last night enjoy it and lighten up on the criticism. IMHO

Outstanding opener, When the 3pt defense gets sorted out and it will, this team will be hard to beat, Bell wil get better as he gets pt. and dont give up on hankton just yet. not many bigs on the roster and he will be needed down the line

So until bell plays like hondo he is not in shape, wow. Lets chart how many players go more than 10 minutes at a stretch. i would guess most get a break in the first half sometime. coach ford needs to be informed that bell wont last 2 minutes and get a sub in immediately. or better yet dont play him at all as he will be gasping for air at the opening tipoff

I agree, why are we trashing our own players? i would suggest that there are few ultra athletes in basketball, if the definition is must run 4 consecutive sub five minute miles. i would say that pool is limited. that said our team has some very good athletes that should be able to run a press in the a10. anyone can disagree without casting insults to our players
