  1. You should tell them to try TAG Team Uniforms down in Licking, Missouri. They are a customized team uniform manufacturer. I know the owner and he would love to have this type of business during the winter months.
  2. It is on the front page. Upper right hand corner. I didn't see it at first. (small monitor) You have to slide your bottom bar over to see it (if your unable to open it completely on your monitor). As you open additional pages, the message rotates to other promotions.
  3. Took 3 OT's, but my boys in blue did what I thought they would/could do. What you gonna say about Wednesday's game Wiz? I'm taking the Bills to win.
  4. In a nut shell, a hacker plants a cookie on your machine. It then records all your key strokes. The hacker can then retrieve the information and can use it for his own benefit - name, address, credit card info, passwords, etc. You type it - they steal it.
  5. Because of NCAA rules, RM is limited on what he can say about recruits till they sign a NLI.
  6. No Sign Needed. Just Clap and Chant. Shouldn't be too difficult for you. But, then again, if you have trouble walking and chewing gum at the same time, this may be out of your league.
  7. I've been to games around the country through the years. One of the best ways to start "traditions" at the game is before the opening tip. I'll challenge everyone here to join in with me at the next home game to start a tradition at our new House. At the conclusion of the National Anthem, stay on your feet, start clapping and start chanting "Let's Go Bills". Keep it up thru both teams player introductions. Intimidation at the visiting team before the tip is a good thing. And it might help pump up our young pups into playing harder in the first half. Once you get the house rocking.... We can then build on that.
  8. If the Blue Crew/student section does their job with gusto, you don't need to worry about the announcer and what he/she does or doesn't do. I give a 2 thumbs up to the Blue Crew/student section for last nights effort. And 4 thumbs up to Kyle Cassity and his touch pass Barry E. And 2 thumbs up to the official for not calling a T on Rick M for being a quarter of the way on the court trying to get that goal-tending call. Should have been called but was overlooked by the officials.
  9. The AD is unavailable for comment at this time. He's at the 'Nugget throwing dice SID is down the street at Binion's losing his per diem in the Poker Room. Word is that RM is hitting the $1.99 buffet at.......
  10. Hard to top that last post Fergie's Bar & Grill in Lemay will be carrying the game tonight. They have a special that they run daily - Bucket of Beer for $12.00 (6 Beers). Food is also pretty decent.
  11. You know who is hot is the girl/woman who looks like she's running the Saintsaitions. Would that be the young lady who used to be on the Baby Blues? She just moved back from Chicago - think her name is Katie somethng... She is a cutie.
  12. New question for 100 points - goes to Nate: What players in the Metro St Louis area, who are D-1 recruits in the 2010-11 classes, are not listed in the above listings?
  13. "Where are you at? " 2nd row of section 110 - on the endline between the basket and the Billiken bench.
  14. Guy does leave alot to be desired. Does anyone else have trouble with the girl who does the timeout entertainment? What we hear down in our seats near the Billiken bench (end line) is unintelligble. She's been named the "Blah-Blah-Blah" girl by the guy sitting behind me.
  15. I stand corrected on the FT %. I guess them missing FT's at key points of he game colored my judgement. Or was that the Budweiser talking? However, after looking at the stats, I noticed that Reed was shown 0-0 in FT attempts. If I'm not mistaken he had at least 1 attempt when he went up for a dunk late in the game and was fouled. Am I recalling that correctly? Also at one point when I looked up at the board when Liddell was at the line, it showed him 1 for 3 and then he missed a FT. The final stats show him only missing 2 for the night. I must be dreaming during the game or we need a better stat guy. Of course it's pretty hard to concentrate where I sit at times due to the "upgraded" (from previous years) dance team that performs directly in front on my seat. Mama Mia! To be 20 again and in college..... I'm starting to think like Jimbo. Scary thought! PS - Skip, we miss you down at the other end of the floor. Guess I'll have to take up the "We want Pasta" and "Weren't you reffing my daughters game earlier?"
  16. -Another Key thing that needs to be improved on - Free Throw shooting. We must have shot in the 40% or less range tonight (haven't seen the stats yet). If we made in the 70-80% range tonight, we walk away with the W in regulation time.
  17. Free Brats, but I'm assuming the beer will cost you at least $7
  18. The following is an email that I received late this afternoon about Thursdays event. Nothing like waiting to the last minute to inform people who donate to the Billiken Club. ---- Meet and Greet with Coach Majerus The Saint Louis University department of athletics announced an informal "Meet and Greet" with the 2008-09 Billiken men's basketball team on Thursday, Oct. 30. All SLU fans are invited to the free event which begins at 6 p.m. with free bratwursts being served at the North Entrance to Chaifetz Arena. The rest of the evening's events will take place in the bowl of the main arena. Practice is slated to end at 6:30 p.m., and the team will be available for autographs from approximately 6:40 p.m. until 7:15 p.m. Head coach Rick Majerus will introduce the members of the squad at 7:15 p.m. For the remainder of the evening, coach Majerus will address the crowd and discuss the team and the upcoming season. The event will end at approximately 7:45 p.m. The Billikens posted a 16-15 record last season and begin the 2008-09 slate with a 7 p.m. exhibition game at Chaifetz Arena Wednesday, Nov. 5, against Harris-Stowe. The regular season begins Friday, Nov. 14, when Missouri-St. Louis inaugurates basketball at Chaifetz Arena at 7 p.m.
  19. Harris leaves Ohio, Groce set to announce staff by JASON ARKLEY / Athens Messenger
  20. I went thru the process at 12:20 today. I'd have to agree with others and say that it was well run. Not many single seats left at the lower levels - some individual seats are still in the lower sections if you really search for them. Still plenty of prime Blue seats and red seats in the 200 section. I got extemely lucky and was able to upgrade my seat from the Scottrade Center. Going from the 4th row on the endline to the 2nd row in section 110 (also on the end line). Timing is everything. I was in and out in 10 minutes. Would have been faster except I had to wait on the kid imputing the info into the computer.
  21. Something tells me we won't have the chance to walk thru the arena to find our seats. Based on past experiences and what I've read here - I got the feeling its going to be a cluster - fxxx
