Frank also said SLU is looking at Liam Campbell. Looks like he is a high school player who committed to USC, but it looking for a new school after the coaching change there.

Frank said on his show that Casey’s commitment is supposed to come today. He mentioned him and Avila playing at the same time with Casey being the 5 and Robbie playing the 4. Not sure if that was his assumption or what Schertz told him. With the way Schertz’s offense doesn’t use traditional positions, it doesn’t really sound like something Schertz would say.

Casey averaged 19 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals and 3 blocks per game as a senior in high school. With the exception of 3 point shooting, it looks like he was a stat stuffer in high school.

According to The Athletics rankings, Avila is 3, Jimerson is 28 and Swope is 31. From what I can tell, they would join Indiana as being the only schools to get 3 players in the top 35 so far.

FWIW, on Frank’s radio show today, he was pretty confident Avila, Swope and Kent were coming. Plus, Turnbull and the 6’10 recruit from Canada. He also mentioned he thinks Jimerson is coming back and Schertz told him that his goal was to have a team of players 6’4”-6’10”.
