  3. SLU security responded to seven car break-ins the evening of the Globbetrotters. None in the parking garage. All north of Olive / Lindell.
  4. I did hear from SLU security today that 5 cars were broken in of people attending the Globetrotter's game. Since there were 3,000 at the Riverwar and 8,000 at the Globetrotters I guess less cars got broken in to last night.
  5. Disappointed not to see KM on the court. Not sure what happened with that. Sounds like he was spotted in the crowd.
  6. A crowd of 8,000? Your kidding right? I would say more like 3,000. For sure!
  7. No idea what side he will play on. Ran in to RM at dinner with my wife Thursday night after the arena grand opening and he mentioned it. Vary genuine man. He came over to our table and talked for 10 minutes. He was all excited because GS was playing Denver on the big screen and he couldn't decide who to root for with his two buddies coaching against each other. If you haven't checked out the Newstead Tower Public House in the Grove and you like tasty draft beers I would recommend it. Of course coach was drinking soda.
  8. I heard from RM directly that K. Mitchell is driving in to town from WI and will be participating in the Riverwar games tonight. Riverwar
  9. They do have the right but maybe they shouldn't have the right. It is a private association. They can do whatever they want.
  10. Not to speak for Brian but I am guessing he is referring to the staff know being all caucasian.
  11. I could give two poops about TT's travel woes
  12. It looked like he kept looking and gesturing towards somebody pretty specific in the corner of the court by the band. He kept pissing me off watching him along with a couple of his boisterous Bonnie fans behind their bench. Unfortunately he kept hitting shot after shot.....................
  13. I promise, it won't happen again. The Hawaii game was a few years ago and unfortunately I can't find her online but she looked something like this........
  14. Yes. She looked good. A couple payers were having a hard time keeping their eyes on Travis in the huddles.
  15. Hawaii had the best looking team manager EVER! She looked like she just got off a photo shoot on the beach.
  16. Good thing Knight didn't coach in the A-10 or he would have retired sooner. On his way out, Knight takes one last swipe at officials
  17. I heard that same thing from Rammer about a month ago. They talked about O Stewart punching a teammate in the face and being suspended. He mentioned O Stewart is currently doing time for murder. I don't remember him saying where.
  18. Just saw this interesting comment from BM on his STL Today post. link to entire blog
  19. I saw the interview. It sounded to me that the dislike was that he found out about the need for him to be at the Billiken Club meeting last minute.
  20. great article! I love this stuff. His new charges at SLU speak glowingly about the little things their coach has imparted already. Freshman Anthony Mitchell describes how Majerus added more rotation to his shot by adjusting the way he grips the ball, moving his thumb closer to his index finger. Senior point guard Dwayne Polk tells how Majerus emphasizes that he has to have his toes pointed toward the basket at all times in order to improve his shooting accuracy. Tommie Liddell, who is left-handed, says Majerus has instructed him to do everything off the court with his right hand, including eating and brushing his teeth, in order to improve his off-hand dribbling. "I guess it's because I wasn't a great player and I had to do the little things right for me to be able to play," says Majerus, who was cut from Marquette's basketball team after attempting to play as a walk-on his freshman year of college in 1967.
  21. An update on the meeting would be much appreciated. I will be up the street a the Fabulous Fox Theatre for the Widespread Panic show!
