I would agree with most of your assessments. I would probably give Sloan a B+ and JJ and DC incompletes as we've hardly had a chance to see them play. Maybe a B for TF.

Is it just me, or does Izik look great when he's in motion, but when he's closely defended, he seems to freeze up. It would be great if he could cut down on the traveling calls.

He went from being a robotic sportscaster to a robotic news anchor. I seriously think that the man is an android. His appearance has not changed since he arrived here in the mid 80's, and his hair could easily be made from some sort of synthetic polymer. At least he isn't calling Billiken basketball games anymore. Just thinking about "the bucket and the bruise" makes me shudder.

I'm not getting my hopes up; Dayton is still a very tough place to play. I remember us losing a game there in the 93-94 season when we were very good, and they weren't.

The crazy thing is that most of the "before" pictures on that calendar aren't that old. I started at SLU in 1993, and the campus looked fairly similar to the before pictures in many respects. I had forgotten about the seedy motel that stood on the site of Parks College and the HUD high rise that was located where the law school atrium is now located. I remember sitting in the quad and hearing a loud "boom" when that building was being demolished!

Did Clarke and JJ play at all? I don't remember seeing them out there. It looked like Brad came back from Wisconsin with a goatee. Not bad.
