You guys notice a certain team Boone County is 0-24? How embarrassing, it's hard not to win 1 baseball conference game.
-
Cooperstown is awesome. You gotta go if you love baseball. Great drive in the Summertime.

My wife severely strained her leg walking down the steps at that stadium in Prague. Someday she will forgive me for dragging her to that game.
What did you think of San Siro? I felt like it was largest slab of concrete that I’ve ever seen and had as much charm as YMCA gym.
I enjoyed the atmosphere outside San Siro. I got front row, center pitch for only 100 Euros. Problem was only 2 toilets for the thousands of fans in that section. They did sell beer that was good. No beer at Real Madrid or in Colombia.

@OkieBilliken I've been to Sparta Prague stadium hit the gift shop not a game. Did the same at Olympiacos in Athens.
@CenHudDude my wife ran the Pittsburgh Marathon and we hit a game, great stadium, great town to visit.

Have you read Jack Carr’s book, Red Sky Mourning? It’s fiction, but a fun read dealing with quantum computing and AI being used in combat.
Nah I'll have to check it out, I've read, "2034" and "Ghost Fleet" interestingly they both caution against US over reliance on technology. Those books and reality have caused a resurgence in focus on being able to go analog for things like fire mission processing. So what's old is new again.

Great list. I have been to the US Open (tennis) and it is must see. I am going to Wimbledon in 2026 and will scratch that one off.
At the top of my list is the Army/Navy game.
Can't believe I left that one off. I've been wanting to hit it with my USMA grad buds.

SLU should ask the ChatGPT what the heck is causing the extreme cramps for Thames and Thatch!
Interesting you say that my wife is a Dr and I did ask her about the situation, she says there's so many possible causes for this condition. Some causes are simple and some complicated some fixable some not and all the tests, trial and error on cures takes time.
But to relate it to AI and medicine there's a push for it to help diagnose but a likely first case is to automate medical note taking for the file. That would save Dr's a lot of time.

AI is artificial, but it is not intelligent. I has a greater capacity for good work in certain areas like graphics and visualization. It is not very good with finances. I have no idea how well it does in other sectors like the military.
It's an ongoing discussion. We're using "camo GPT" now, and it's good in that it has access to the whole of military doctrine. So that is very useful. In addition, in my area of focus, target mensuration and joint targeting are ripe for automating some decision-making in the kill chain. It's an ongoing discussion amongst senior leaders. So I've been busy with stuff like that.
Given enough computing power and the right analytics, I wonder if an AI could provide the optimum lineup for the selected offense/defense vs the opposing offense/defense. The human factor would always be there, even if given all the money to buy the highest-paid NIL players. There are just some things a computer program could never do, like be subtle or have a sense of humor.

This is 100% what this board should follow. Let's end the speculation on what is causing his condition.
Hahaha says the web crawling bot that continues to cut and paste anything related, adding to speculation.
How can a web crawling bot not programmed for personality be such a tool?
Taking the I out of AI.

With enough money it would be easy to assemble the best players in the country, for any team, in any conference. A billionaire could out spend everyone.
If it were that easy Arkansas would've won the National Championship last year.
Money is a component but so is coaching, organizational support, player cohesion, a little luck.

I'm not saying that you would be wrong, but are you saying that teams like Dayton and SLU do not have legit shot at a national title?
It would be exceptionally hard and expanding the tournament to more games makes it even harder. More games less deep Cinderellas.

So pretty good schedule from a quality standpoint.
So maybe quality opponents, regional focus, winning team, likeable personalities and marketing are the recipe for attendance success.

How will revenue sharing affect our newest foreign recruit? Ishan Sharma is Canadian.

However, it is fair to say that the current AD has not adequately addressed this deficiency, if at all.
