Didn't Rickey Clemons go to Barton CC?

His Bio can still be found on Mutigers.com

Player Bio: Ricky Clemons :: Men's Basketball

"transferred to Mizzou this semester from the College of Southern Idaho ..."

I was shocked to find this info still on their website. But at Mizzou you can put anything you want in your player bio ala Miguel Paul.

According to SI, yes:

Coach Ryan Wolf recruited players from all over the nation to the 2,500-student school in Great Bend, Kans., 90 miles northwest of Wichita. He signed kids with academic troubles. He brought in players with checkered backgrounds. Barton became known as a way station for mercurial athletes like Ricky Clemons, Randy Pulley, Travis Robinson and Robert Whaley.

How the HELL did Biondi not hire Coach Wolf?

I think he went to Barton the summer before he enrolled at Mizzou to complete the 24 hours he needed to be eliglble. I am not sure if this is 100% correct but the story was something like that.

Clemons played at Southern Idaho, then took the 'classes' he needed for eligibility at Barton Co CC. He never played ball at Barton.

Southern Idaho, btw, is traditionally one of the best Juco programs in the country, a 2-time winner of the Juco Championship. They produce many D1 players, though not many upper echelon stars, but they do usually have a lot of low- and mid-major caliber players.

Thanks for the clarification.
