Saw a thing on CBS Sports App, was thinking of possible outside locations where they could play a basketball game.. They threw out Illinois vs. mu. Playing at The Arch.. Said maybe they could hold 12,000.. What if it would be the Bills vs. ?? Maybe some old Metro pals ? Maybe such an oddity could attract attention, tv maybe in on this... Would the happen, probably not, but something to ponder , during the summer...

The schedule is what it is, with that, glad Lindenwood is on the schedule. If the future schedules will be like this, let's play Lindenwood and SIU-E every year... Have regional games, SIU-C, SEMO ,UMKC, Southern Indiana, Austin Peay,Bellarmine, Valley schools, both Ohio and Missouri Valley... More interest than say North Carolina A&T or Idaho State... Please keep it D1...

Became official today... Personally I would like to see the A-10 add member(s). If we are a Juan bid league maybe 16 members makes us harder to ignore, maybe get 2 ??? My preferences College Of Charleston Wichita State Belmont Next tier?? UNC-Wilmimgton ? Northeastern(Boston Market)? Drake?

The Pac 12 has till July 1st to add a full member , to get to 8 , to retain FBS status.. Sacremento State joined the Big West, so they are out of the running at this time. Texas State seems to be he favorite... Guess the Pac 12 wants Texas footprint maybe... With the additions from the Mountain West , and Gonzaga( basketball only) . They could add, but at this time would they be a Power Conference or a Mid Major???

I am a different fan. I became of fan the day Grawer was named coach. Was caught up with the DeSmet reputation... Would follow the Bills in the Globe ,would put a quarter in the machine . Think when Monroe Douglas signed really pushed my enthusiasm, after all he was a high major mention on Street and Smith... I did not attend SLU, nor any college, was going to wait a year, make some money, well 1 year has turned to 45... I have never seen a Billiken home game, seemed when there was a game planned would snow, we lived in Waynesville then.. So the first Billiken game I went to was in Kansas City , against UMKC , in January 1994.. The Bills were 15-1, and were #23 .. This is why I like a 20 game conference schedule... P4/5 schools won't schedule us, makes fewer OOC games ( no more Avila and William Woods please). If we are a Juan bid league, why not add 1 or 2 , get to 15 or 16. Maybe a better chance to get a second bid, at least . Would like to see College of Charleston get an invite.. (2) Wichita State or Belmont. Perhaps even look into Northeastern( Boston market) or UNC- Wilmington. They fit geographically , and metropolitan. Anyway, summer ,thoughts?
